My name's Evan Cox and I live in San Antonio, Texas with my fiance Veronica, two dogs and our cool cat Willy. I'm originally from Kansas City, Mo, I lived in Seattle for about a year and half in my early twenties and moved to San Antonio in 2003. I attended the University of Texas San Antonio from 2003-07, majoring in Interior Design as part of the School of Architecture. I'm passionate about desi

gn, photography, fast cars, music, wood working, arguing, Kansas City sports and everything audio. I started Steeltreeworks about 4 years ago to give me a platform that I could control to showcase my designs and be able to keep designing and developing new products without going broke! I work out of a mid sized shop in Boerne, Texas, just north of San Antonio. Most of the time, it's just me, a lot of tools, measuring equipment and a lot of dust. At Steeltreeworks, I make mostly made to order products, with many custom, one-off pieces that you won't see listed here or on Etsy, but if you have an idea then I can usually work with you to make it happen.
