💔Rescues and fosters saved the day for many of the urgent dogs today. ACS even gave several an extra day to find placement. But for three sweethearts it was the end of the road….

💔😩Nearly HALF of today’s listed dogs were killed for kennel space at ACS in San Antonio. 25 sweet dogs in just two days! One is too many but what can we do? When society places no value on the life of a dog and can discard them without looking back, you end up where we are…devoted advocates trying to save each and every one! Heartbroken over the losses today;

🤞🤞We are hopefully optimistic that today will be a no kill day! There are a few still listed as possible euthanasia, including mama Neila and her 7 pups. If they survive until tomorrow they will be added to the list that will be equally as long as today. We appreciate the rescues who saved 7 dogs and the 6 orphaned puppies!❤️ There we’re also several adopted and a couple fostered through the shelter! A mother and her new puppies, along with so many other dogs are loosing their lives today. The shelter is FULL.

Please share this post and educate you friends and family about what is happening in Texas and all over the county.

📣❤️🥰Today was miraculously a NO KILL DAY! They had postponed euthanasia to see if they could find placement for more dogs to open up kennel space and THEY MADE IT HAPPEN! We are extremely happy that they found room but the bad news is that many of the dogs on today’s list are back on tomorrow’s list along with many other deserving dogs, including Mama Betty and her TEN newborns! They ALL need fosters or adopters! Please help us by sharing everywhere so someone interested in being a hero to a special dog will see them and reach out!

We can’t stress enough that if you are interested in any of the dogs on the euthanasia list, you MUST email the shelter by 12:00 PM! Sweet dogs who almost got a chance are dying because people are trying to save them after euthanasia starts at 12:00 Pm and for most it is too late! 💔

💔Super long list of urgent dogs today (33 listed!) Over half were given the gift of an extra day to find placement! Let’s take advantage of this and find these sweethearts a foster or adopter. Those we lost today were all owner surrenders! 5 precious babies (3 were actually only 5 months old😢)

💔Today was no better than yesterday at ACS in San Antonio. 9 dogs were killed for kennel space! No where for them to go - so they had to go!😢
