Rest in Peace, Hope ❤️
Rest in Peace…
In early 2019, we rescued Hope. Hope was paralyzed from the waist down and ended up at Riverside Shelter. After learning that she had inoperable gun pellets in her spine, we tried steroid treatments and loads of love. On my birthday in 2019, she stood on her own and took her first steps (this video). From that day on, she got stronger and ran the ranch for years. The last couple years were tough on her…her heart enlarged maybe because of an overload of love from us. This morning, she threw a clot and I had to say goodbye to one of the most special rescues to have come into my life. Fly free little one. I love you so very much ❤️ you will be missed more than you could ever know.
