Max Update ❤️Max had his surgery last night, and we got an update this morning. He’s eating for the vet staff already, which is a great sign! He’s in a lot of pain and feeling a little grouchy (understandably), but he’s doing as well as we could hope right now.Unfortunately, they’re still unsure if they’ll be able to save his badly injured leg, but they’re doing everything they can. FOSTER NEEDED. Emmitt is about six years old. The family had a medical issue and decided they could not keep him any longer. They gave him to the neighbor who left him outside and he kept escaping. Now he’s at a local vet hospital living there while he waits for a rescue or new home to take him. The family does not want him back. If he goes to the shelter he risks being euthanized. He likes dogs and cats. He’s a little energetic when he first sees people but just wants to be pet and loved on. He does pretty well on leash.
