🎇 So many pets run or hide when startled. 🎆 Check your gates and fences. 🎇 Microchip your pet, or be sure the information is up to date. 🎆 Play, walk, run them earlier in the day to help tire them out. 🎇 Ask your vet about medication or CBD treats if your pets are highly sensitive to noise or very anxious. 🎆 If you leave, do not leave them outside. 🎇 Play some soft, calming music, and be sure they have their favorite toys, bed or blankets in the room with them. (Do you have other tips to share?)

😻 Do you have a cat, or two.. or a few? Contrary to popular belief, most cats need overnight care, rather than just a check in (even if they’re not affectionate). 🙀 Some will be scared and go wild, knocking over (and potentially breaking) things, even the water bowl. Many cats will hide & get closed in cabinets and closets - get stuck in tight spots, or up high - if they’re only checked every 8 or 12 hours. that’s a long time without water. 😿 Older cats may be confused if left alone too long, and tend to wander around crying out.
