Welcome to Tzuology, my name is Jamie. My whole life I have been passionate about animals, and I have had pets for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a military spouse for the past 20 years. Because of all the moving and travel associated with military life, I’ve gravitated towards smaller breeds. I initially started breeding in 2003 after my sister in law gave us the sweetest Pomeranian and produced 3 litters by 2006. That’s when my husbands career and our life got busy. We moved 5 or 6 times, lost some loved ones and didn’t have the time to focus on much else. In 2012 we took in a family members child who we now call our daughter. We fostered a few dogs from then until around 2017 when I laid eyes on the sweetest black shih tzu and that was all she wrote. I have been in love with this breed since and have been breeding shih tzus for the past 5 years.
