You saved Kookoo’s life and this is the impact of your compassion. 🐾

Meet Kookoo, a sweet 2-year-old rescue cat who was found crying behind a dandelion as a kitten. From the moment her mom found her, she was family.

But recently, Kookoo became dangerously ill lethargic, not eating, and showing signs of infection. She was diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening condition requiring emergency surgery.

💔 Her mom was heartbroken… but thanks to your donations, Sage Compassion for Animals awarded a life-saving veterinary grant that covered her urgent care. And with the help of the amazing team at , Kookoo pulled through. Today, she’s home, healthy, and happily singing along with her mom again.

Her mom shared:
“I don’t know what I would do without her. From the bottom of my soul, I thank you all for saving her life.”

Oreo’s Second Chance at Life 🐾

Meet Oreo, a sweet 13-year-old Rat Terrier mix with a heart full of resilience. Once neglected and living on the streets, Oreo found her forever home 7 years ago and she’s been deeply loved ever since. 💕

When Oreo became lethargic, bleeding, and unable to walk, her family rushed her to VEG Pleasant Hill, where she was diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection that required immediate surgery.

Faced with a financial emergency, her family turned to Sage Compassion for Animals, and with the help of a grant for urgent veterinary care, Oreo received the surgery she desperately needed.

Thanks to the expert care at VEG and the compassion of donors like you, Oreo is back to her happy, talkative self loving her walks, car rides, and all the cuddles she can get. 💛
