Anthony’s training was a game changer for Oakley and I. Prior to the training, Oakley was constantly leash tugging (escaped 3 times), ruining furniture, refusing the kennel, and only listened to commands for treats (until he was over it, then he wouldn’t listen at all). What made me most anxious was introducing Oakley to other dogs, elderly, and children. Through Anthony’s 1-1 work with Oakley during boarding and his sessions where I was also taught to properly handle Oakley, we were able to correct these behaviors and build a much stronger connection built on trust, consistency, and bonding. I’m no longer worried about introducing Oakley to people and other dogs, and I’m looking forward to exploring public places and the outdoors with confidence that Oakley will be well behaved and obedient. “About a year and a half ago we decided to rescue a 1.5 year old male husky. Our female husky was 3 at the time and thought she was the alpha. Despite a slow, controlled introduction, my dogs would get in the occasional fight. On top of this, our rescue was incredibly anxious, making it difficult for him to become comfortable in his new home. For everyone’s safety, we sought out professional trainers. After numerous recommendations to her, we set up a consultation with Colleen and the rest was history. Working with her was the easiest decision we’ve ever made. Our dogs have learned to control their negative emotions, walk better on leashes, come when called, and more. They learned things we weren’t even expecting from the training, and our boy even calmed enough to get comfortable and confident in his home and was finally able to be himself. I went to Colleen for help to train my 3 month old Dachshund puppy, Cannoli. I had no idea the amount of time and effort it took to train a new pup, and Colleen was perfect for the job. She helped Cannoli learn her basic commands and teach me the tools to continue training her each day at home. Since working with Colleen, Cannoli has become a very obedient puppy at such a young age. I was also able to get back to normal home life faster, lessen the unwanted puppy behaviors, and overall enjoy my days with Cannoli. Colleen was and still is always there for when I have a question or need more help. I am forever grateful for the amazing training she gave us!
