I am beyond excited to let everyone know, after many rounds of chemo, Zeus is officially cancer free and ready to be adopted!!! 🎉 😁

Zeus is a gentle giant, he is a sweet, submissive big ol’ teddy bear! We are guessing Zeus to be about 5-6 years old. He is a big boy at about 80 pounds, but such a chill guy! 😎

Zeus is silly, he is a talker, if he doesn’t like something he will tell you (like bath time). He is curious, he likes other dogs and is the submissive guy in the pack, gets along with cats, and would do well with kids.

I just saw this on one of my Facebook groups from a few days ago, and it is absolutely heartbreaking.💔

The person behind this pickup truck, watched the person abandoned the dog on a busy road in TJ near the border 😭

Sadly domesticated dogs don’t have street savvy, this poor dog won’t make it if it hasn’t already been run over.
Shelters are full, people aren’t adopting, I have no foster volunteers… things with rescue have never been this bad, but people crossing from California to Mexico and dumping dogs is sickening.

I would love someone to find this person by their license plate and let the internet make him famous 😡

Please excuse my absence, I was traveling and am currently recovering from eye surgery 😩

BUT had to share this insanely adorable photo… what you see here is THREE foster fails, the 3 pups from 11-3 o’clock are all pups my sweet angel foster took in over the previous years, and none of them left 😂

They have since moved out of San diego to Alaska! And took all the pups with of course, and now this growing family is all moving to Puerto Rico for her hubbys job!

🩷 It makes me so happy to see updates like this over the years 🥹

💚 Please meet super adorable, 1 1/2 year old Modello!

Modello is only about 8 pounds, his DNA test says he is a Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Cocker spaniel mix. He is so ridiculously adorable, his photos don’t do him justice!
He has a beautiful white and brown medium length fur coat.
🐾 He is not a barker, initially here, shy, but warms up to his human quickly, and get along with other dogs and cats, he will sleep quietly in his crate at night. He is housetrained and is quite the little prince!
He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

I am over the moon so happy to announce, after waiting 121 days, Luffy has been adopted! 😭🥰

Thank you to everyone who shared his photos and posts!
I haven’t been posting and taking dogs as much because I have been working more this year. Adoptions have been slower than they have ever been and it is extremely difficult to find foster volunteers. Thank you to everyone who follows along and supports my little rescue.

🩵 Please meet 2 year old Banjo!

Banjo is a very affectionate, sweet and active boy, as you can see he is always smiling! Banjo is currently in need of a foster home, but is also available for adoption!!
🐶 He constantly provides comedic entertainment with his silly and spunky ways! He is the absolute biggest cuddle bug and loves to be near his human at all times.

🐾 He loves adventure especially bike rides, runs and tug o war. He is on the petite side at about 45 pounds.
Banjo would do best in an active and single dog home. And a family who has experience with pittie breeds. Anyone would be lucky to have this boy in their family!

🥰 Banjo has never shown any signs of aggression towards humans, big or small. He is like many pitties, just a ball of love!

If you think you’re having a bad week, I can assure you Reyna’s is way worse ☹️.
She was in so much pain the vet anesthetized her today to do more X-rays, and discovered she had not one, but THREE broken legs 😭
And so she is now a mummy puppy. Please send healing vibes her way! 🫶🏽❤️ And thank you to everyone who donated for her vet care!!!

Please meet little bebe Chico, Chico was found and brought to us by a very nice homeless man in Ensenada.

He is guessed to be about 3 months old, and some sort of Akita mix, which means he may be a larger dog full grown. He is currently about 8 pounds.

🐾 Chico is so sweet, he loves playing with the other dogs, he spends most of his time indoors and is currently going potty on pee-pads.

🎀 Please meet the super sweet Millie!

Millie is a 3 year old lab mix, she has lived with small children since she was a small puppy and absolutely loves them.

She is a playful energetic dog, but is timid/ reserved around other dogs, does well with 1 on 1 dog play dates 🐶🐶. Her favorite thing in the world is a tennis ball 🎾 and will play fetch for as long as you are willing to throw it for her.

She knows lots of tricks and will happily show you them, just have a treat ready 🐷

Millie is currently 63 pounds, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped…

💗 Meet 3 year old Roxy!

Roxy is a super fluffy 32 pound sheep dog. Her owner in Mexico is moving and isn’t taking her with 💔😭

Roxy is initially shy, but gets along with other dogs, she is housetrained and goes potty outside. I will get her groomed before I bring her up, I am hoping to bring her up Thursday the next transport, as the person is moving next week!

❤️Hey everyone, I need your help finding Poppy a home!!!

Poppy has been waiting for someone to choose her for sooooo long 😔 She has been in a foster for 2 months with no applications, why? It’s hard to find shepherd mix’s homes. But I really feel if people would share her photos and story, we can find her a home for Christmas!

Poppy is about 9 months old, she is currently 40 pounds and won’t get much bigger. She is long and lean and beautiful!

Poppy gets along with her foster dog siblings great! She is house trained and free roams during the day while her foster family is at work. She loves the park and walks and is such a sweet, affectionate girl!

🖤 GARY!!!!

Please meet 2 month old GARY. Gary is a ridiculously adorable, sweet wire terrier puppy.

Luffy was rescued in pretty bad shape off the streets of Tijuana.

Luffy is guessed to be about 2 years old, he is 45 pounds. He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and healthy.

Luffy is the submissive friend in the pack, he LOVES other dogs, puppies, and especially his humans.

Luffy is still in his foster home in Tijuana, waiting for his freedom ride to San Diego so he can be adopted. But I need a foster home for him.

🌼 Meet 8 month old Poppy!

Poppy is the sister of Olivia and Penny who were already adopted. Poppy is currently 35 pounds, and is a beautiful Malinois/Shepherd mix.

Poppy is good with people and other dogs. The best home for Poppy is one with a yard and at least one other dog.

She is energetic, loves her chew toys and loves to go to the dog park.
Poppy would do good with a human who has breed experience with shepherds as she is very smart and easily trained. She sleeps through the night and is potty trained!

Sassy is guessed to be a chihuahua terrier mix of some sorts, and according to her current size of about 7 pounds should remain on the smaller size full grown.

Sassy was found in a trash pile with her sister. She is on the shy side, but really affectionate and cuddly! She would be a good fit with other dogs, cats and kids.

🦊 I was asked to help this Mama and her babies, it took a couple weeks but tonight they are safe and sound.I’m calling Mama Goldie, she and her 5 babies are doing great! Mama is 3-4 years old and about 25 pounds. No idea what the other breed babies could be 🥴Mama will be spayed, vaccinated and taken for a health check. The past few months adoptions have slowed, and in return my funds are scary low ☹️, I keep getting messages to help with dogs that I can’t say no to, and so I am desperately in need of some help 🙏🏼 I currently have 13 puppies in my rescue, imagine being financially responsible for 13 baby dogs 🥵 Storytime… I started this little rescue by myself 2 years ago, I work part-time so I’m able to drive back and forth to Mexico weekly. I go by myself, I do have fosters and friends and family that help, but for the most part I’m navigating the world of dog rescue solo. I receive zero funding assistance, I don’t pay myself ANYTHING, all funds come from my adoption fees. But when I take in a pregnant dog, or litter of puppies, it comes with a ton of financial requirements and I’m starting to fall behind. I received another plea for help last night for the mama dog in the last photo in this post, she is old, broken, sick and needs help. My face got hot and my eyes filled with tears when I saw her pics, you can feel her sadness 😢 The woman in TJ who sent me a message is willing to take her in and nurse her back to health if I pay the vet bill, I can’t say no… I’ve had SO many success stories of dogs beaten and left for dead, literally thrown away like trash. I can’t wait for her to get her chance to come to San Diego and see what it’s like to be someone’s whole world, to be loved and live out her life in happiness. I can’t do this without help, I know inflation is crazy right now and we’re all trying to keep up, if you could please help by donating a little, even if everyone just donated $2-$3 it helps, seriously ANYTHING.
