Talon is a handsome 2-year-old neutered male Doberman looking for a dedicated person and home to call his own.
His Pros:
🦴 Familiar with a marker system (“Yes,” “No,” and “Good”)
🦴Reliable off-leash training experience, both with and without an e-collar
🦴Comfortable around horses and other farm animals
🦴Neutral around cats
🦴 Loves people and enjoys human interaction
🦴 Medium toy drive
🦴 High food drive
🦴Knows basic obedience and has a solid foundation in advanced heeling work
🦴 Crate trained
🦴 House trained
His cons:
🦴 Would do best as an only dog or with a submissive female companion (a submissive male may also be considered)
🦴Can be sensitive to corrections from other dogs and may overreact in certain situations, so careful management and appropriate dog interactions are important
🦴not a candidate for homes with small children
Ideal Home
🏡A farm or rural home would be preferred, as Talon truly thrives in that environment
🐾A home without a frequent rotation of dogs or dogs likely to create conflict
🏃♀️An active household that can provide physical exercise, mental stimulation, and continued engagement
