Brody has the drive to survive. He's coming up in his 10th birthday on September 19th but you would never know it. Diet and nutrition gives your body the power to fight off disease, but sometimes it just gets you. And as luck would have it, like Frankie when she was 11, Brody has also developed a tumor in his bone, near his wrist. Because Brody is athletic and lean, he's a good candidate for amputation. It's hard for me to think about this, but it'll probably be the best thing. It was just stepping onto uneven ground that caused the break. His organs appear free and clear and Brody's spirit is strong. Onward and forward... ♥️mybrody

This is my foster kitty, sweet sweet Artemis . She's affectionate, intelligent, well-mannered kitty. She's looking for a loving home that will give her the affection she craves but will also be respectful of her space. She'll tolerate well-tempered dogs who mind their own business. Otherwise she doesn't care too much for the canine kind. Of course, she's still young and anything is possible with time, love, and some boundaries. She's an amazing cat! 😺

Our latest fans of Frankie and Brody's Love Bites on an pre-sunset stroll through the Sunset. These are senior dogs, Buddy (in stroller), Ralphy, and Bob (shy one) from Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. They're living their best lives with a second chance forever home with this wonderful neighbor of mine, Suzanne. We happened to meet while I had a bag full of Love Bites and got to talking. It's all so clear: Love is all you need... 🐶💗
