Woke up to this… ☹️

Maybe they didn’t know this van is used to transport shelter dogs to new adventures and into the world. Maybe they didn’t know it also hauls coffee equipment to events where profits are donated to help these same dogs.

Maybe if they knew, it would have mattered… or maybe it wouldn’t have.

Either way, this van will get fixed, and it will continue its mission—helping shelter dogs, one ride and coffee sale at a time. 🚐🐾

We wanted to take a moment this evening to thank our very good friend and partner Kevin of .

The work he has done for our shelter and shelter animals is something that we could never thank him enough for.

Kevin not only provided delicious and unique coffees to our PAWp-Up guests but also took our PAWp-Up dogs on special adventures almost every weekend. He made it his mission to get our shelter dogs out in the world to be seen by the public. He even brought some of them home for the evening and gave them a nice little break from the shelter. They would have a foster and then he would bring them back to the PAWp-Up the next day.

Coffee Companions Coffee Company will continue to be at our PAWp-Up until Feb. 16. Stop by, try some amazing coffee, and meet some adorable and adoptable .

Our PAWp-Up is located at 93 E. San Carlos St., San José, CA. It is open until Feb. 16, Thursdays to Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

🐾 Meet Doozy! 🐾

Looking for a loyal companion to snuggle up with? Meet Doozy, a 2 ½-year-old male Pitbull who’s stealing hearts at the San Jose PAWp-Up Adoption Center today!

This handsome guy, with his stunning red coat, is as affectionate and gentle as they come. Doozy is playful yet calm, loves treats, and is the ultimate cuddle buddy. I’ll admit—when I had him over, I broke my own rules and let him snuggle on the bed because I just couldn’t resist!

Doozy is ready to find his forever home, and he’s hoping it’s with you. Come meet him at the PAWp-Up Adoption Center today and see why everyone is falling in love with this sweet boy!

It was an honor to be part of the press conference for San Jose PAWp-Up, our city’s first pop-up animal adoption center. This initiative shines a much-needed spotlight on shelter animals who deserve so much more than life confined to kennels or cages. It’s about creating opportunities for meaningful connections—where people can meet these amazing companions face-to-face, witness their unique personalities, and imagine the joy they could bring into their lives.

National service dog nonprofit Canine Companions is hosting their annual DogFest event at Oakland’s Jack London Square on Saturday, October 19! 🎃🐾 Join us for a dog-friendly, Halloween-themed day packed with fun, including canine costume contests, temporary tattoos for people and pups, paw painting, a dog selfie studio, service dog demos, music, a kid’s zone, and more!

Stop by the Coffee Companions booth and say hi! While we won’t be selling our cold brews, we’ll have our beans 🫘 and merch for sale. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Adopt My Block, based in North San Jose, is a non-breed specific dog rescue focused on rehoming at-risk dogs and supporting struggling pet parents with supplies and emergency vet care. Since 2019, AMB has fostered dozens of dogs, nursing many back to full health. With plans to expand, they’re working with businesses and the community to do even more for dogs in need!

It’s that time of year again!! 🎉🐾

Join us for an all-day, FREE, outdoor, family-friendly event at Bark in the Park™, the largest dog festival in the U.S. with over 15,000 dog lovers and 3,900 dogs! 🐕❤️
