We will be closed July 1–6 for the holiday. Please plan ahead for any training or boarding needs.
🇺🇸 As we approach the 4th of July, remember: fireworks don’t always stop after the 4th! Keep your pups safe:
✅ Always use a collar and leash outdoors, even in yards.
✅ Make sure ID tags are up to date.
✅ Don’t leave pets outside unattended.

Today I wrapped up a great lesson with Koda and Ella, focusing on leash manners and spatial pressure. These two pups love to lean and tumble into people both inside and outside the home, so we worked on teaching them to respect space in a calm, positive way.
Why is this so important? Their owner is preparing for knee surgery, and even friendly dogs who push or lean can unintentionally cause pain or injuries during recovery. They also have a family member with Parkinson’s disease. For anyone with mobility or balance challenges, it’s crucial to have dogs who are aware and respectful of human space to help keep everyone safe.
Spatial pressure is such an easy, effective skill to teach, and Koda and Ella picked it up so quickly! 🐾🐾
Ella, was recently adopted from Saving Grace. she’s a true rockstar and so eager to learn. I loved working with this willing, engaged pair and seeing how much they enjoyed learning new things. 🤩
✨ Helping dogs become polite, safe companions isn’t just about obedience, it’s about supporting their families’ health, comfort, and peace of mind. 🫶🏼

Wrapped up a great lesson with Bingo today, working on recall and consistency around high-value distractions. 🐾 Before he was even born, I had the pleasure of training his brother Toby! Love seeing these boys grow and learn—it’s always special to work with families over the years. ❤️
And of course, we can’t leave out Buddy, their senior brother, who scored all the freebies just for being cute and supervising. 😄🐶

Lesson update for these two smart girls!
Lacey (dog on the left) was fearful of new sounds, people, and environments. Now she confidently walks into stores without resistance. On our first trip to Lowe’s, the loud bangs would make her jump and freeze. Now she walks right past everyday noises like a pro!
Savannah (on the right) is naturally confident and has the typical breed tendency to bark and nip at feet when people walk away. 🚷🐾We’ve been channeling that drive into obedience, helping her focus on her mama instead of chasing movement. It’s been amazing to see her mind shift!
We’re also teaching both girls how to get their feet up and jump into the car on their own instead of needing to be picked up. They’ve both made so much progress over these lessons!
Proud of these two and their dedicated owner for all the work they’re putting in!

✨ Remy went home today after completing his one-week training program!
On his very first day back, he faced a big test, a busy kids’ birthday party. Remy used to bark at guests, try to herd playing children, and struggle with social situations. After training, he confidently joined the party, calmly coexisted with a house full of adults and kids, even went in the water slide, and ignored tempting pizza and cheese on the table.
We’re so proud of his transformation: learning to be calm, social, and confident in new environments with people, dogs, and lots of noise. Great work, Remy and family! 🎉🐾

Private lesson update with Bindi (frenchie)🐾
We took training to Lowe’s to work on her jumping, especially around people and other dogs. She did great following through with commands in a busy environment! Grateful to her owners for letting me bring along Pita and Remy—both pups in training who are building confidence and social skills. All three are young dogs learning how to navigate the big world around them 🐾✨

Private lesson number 2 with Boaz
Boaz is settling beautifully into his new home! His name has biblical roots meaning “in him is strength” — and this little pup is already showing that strength through his progress and resilience. 💪✨ Today, we focused on building guidance into his commands and began introducing grooming techniques. Since Boaz will require regular grooming for life, teaching him early sets the foundation for stress-free sessions and lifelong success. Proud of how far he’s come already! 🐶✂️🫶
