Henry's Second Private Lesson Update🐾🐕✨️
This growing Bernedoodle puppy is making great strides in his training! During this lesson, we focused on improving his leash skills, reinforcing obedience, and working on impulse control. He’s learning to stay engaged and make better choices, even when distractions are around, such as ducks, golf carts, leaves & water.
It’s always exciting to see young pups progress, and Henry is no exception even at 12 weeks old. With consistency and practice, he’s well on his way to becoming a well mannered companion. He's cute but going to be BIG so even at this age training is important!

Today’s session was all about focus and self control 🤗 I had the pleasure of working with a driven German Shepherd and a playful Doodle, using each dog as a distraction for the other. 🐾
This type of training builds reliability in real world situations, where distractions are everywhere, whether it’s another dog, a person, or even just the environment.
Both dogs made amazing progress in ignoring each other and focusing on their handlers 🐾

This sweet doodle is working hard on managing her energy around new people, places, and sights. Today, we took a trip to the pet store for some proper socialization! 🐾 She explored the aisles, practiced staying calm, and even got to pick out some treats (and sample a few, she's a bit picky about what I use)
Building confidence and focus in new environments is key to her progress for a home and she’s doing amazing! 💖

Bingo is crushing it in his private lessons! 🐾 His family has been putting in the work during the week, building a strong obedience foundation and helping him gain confidence in the world around him.
During our first lesson, Bingo was too scared to even sit in Lowe’s. The sights, sounds, and movement were overwhelming for him. Fast forward to lesson 3 out in public, and he’s walking past people, dogs, and loud noises like a champ 😬 Not only that, but he’s offering obedience on his own, and his fear behaviors have significantly decreased. 🙌🏼

Just wrapped up a lesson with an 8W puppy and a 10YO dog! 🐾 Focused on proper introductions and space awareness to set the stage for a healthy relationship between the two dogs. The owners are now equipped to keep things balanced and help shape their puppy into a well-mannered companion. Building great foundations starts early!

Important Update for Spring 2025‼️
As the spring season approaches, I have many plans on the horizon and will be scaling back on my boarding services. However, my commitment to providing dog training remains strong!
I’ll be focusing on private lessons in two beautiful local parks:
🐾 Kiwanis Family Park - Sanford, NC
🐾 Chatham Park - Pittsboro, NC
These locations provide excellent environments for training and socialization. If you’re ready to work on building a better bond with your dog, I’d love to help! Contact me to schedule your session today.
