August 20th babies are learning how to walk and talk. Next puppy milestones are tasting puppy mush, then the time comes they start to trust me which turns into loving me. I wouldnât trade what Iâm blessed to do for anything else in the world.
I may offer really really cute Dane puppies but I also know a Great Dane is a Great Dane. Theyâre all born precious little souls that want to love their humans and be with them as much as they possibly can. A true Velcro doggie. I canât offer you the best all around Great Dane since to me they all are. Instead I offer a super special to me Dane that comes with my years of experience as needed to help navigate Dane life. Thatâs what sets Garner Danes aside from others. My knowledge and willingness to help anytime I can. Plus knowing their parents, grandparents, great grands, and beyond sure help ease minds when offering happy healthy furkids to add to your family for what we hope will be many many years to come!
Enjoy the video. Iâm enjoying every second I have with them. đ

If youâre possibly interested in a middle aged Great Dane (male or female) that is fully trained and good around pretty much anything they come in contact with we do have a few available that could possibly like relaxing on your couch with more one on one than we can offer while raising their grandkids. We usually have someone retiring that we could chat about if youâd rather learn about an adult Dane. We also on occasion have one returned we are rehoming. Check in with us anytime for details.
Puppies-
When you are on the early deposit wait list or planning to take your Garner Dane pup home we will go over what kibble he or she has been eating so you will have the easiest and cleanest new home transition and a happy tummy for house training.
Right now the baby Danes go home eating WHOLESOMES FISH AND RICE. All of our adults do great on it and have for several years straight. Everyone has great looking skin and weight with happy tummies. FYI This kibble used to be labeled for puppies and adults. Since we started feeding it, it has changed verbiage to adult. We know from years of experience baby Danes donât need the extra growth boosters by certain ingredients shared across most brands of puppy labeled kibbles. A few puppy labels are good we just have to make sure theyâre within specific nutritional values for a Dane. They seem to do very well eating what mom ate during gestation and rarely have tummy issues. Other than the teenage trials when they pretend they donât like it just to get something different. LOL
If interested in learning more about puppies planned for the fall 2024 please reach out
by text. If you have specifics or a best timeframe we do offer the early deposit wait list that is pretty minimal at this time.

Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than you đ
This is a good read for adjusting to a new puppy in your life. The video is our 2.5 week olds before they really come out of their shell and trust us. Life is continuously new to them at this stage â€ïž This is the first time they are playing in an outside room with more space to learn to walk.
đŸATTENTION NEW PUPPY OWNERSâŠâŠ.
I wanted to touch base on a common issue that breeders come across with new owners.
This goes for adults rehomed as well.
REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS-
You see the breeders pictures and videos and the pups are all social. They are quiet in the pen. The breeder shows you videos of them being totally relaxed, happy, playful. All looks amazing and you bring your puppy home.
Then reality hits. The puppy may cry in the crate for the first few nights making you tired and agitated. The happy social puppy is refusing to greet the half dozen overly excited friends you invited over to see your new puppy. Or the overly excited playful children you have at home. The puppy refuses to walk on a leash. Many are wondering how did my perfect puppy turn into a nightmare.
So letâs discuss realistic expectations of when a puppy goes home.
-First of all the puppy has been in the breeders home since birth. They had their mother and littermates. They had their routine, were taught expectations and were completely in their comfort zone.
Now suddenly they are taken to a totally new environment. Picture yourself being dropped into an unknown country, in a different part of the world. You know only a few words of their language. Different sounds, smells, temperature, animals and people.
Now in the middle of this we are switching up your routine, possibly decide to have a party with people you don't know, and ask you to do jobs you have no idea about. Overwhelming to say the least.
This is what every puppy goes through when going to their new home. Stress manifests in different forms. From not eating, reluctancy to play, and greet people. Being apprehensive at
