Garner's Great Danes of the Carolinas Great Dane breeder in central North Carolina- our Danes consist of AKC registered 50% American 50% euro blue, harlequin, brindle, fawn, and mantle.

Here at Garners Great Danes we are all about Danes. We treat them like royalty and really couldn't live without them. Our 5 girls and 3 boys consist of Harlequins, Merle, Brindle, Blue, Fawn mantle, and Mantle. Our oldest guy we call Grandpa Harley is still with us at age 10 and loves visitors. It is going to be someone’s (it ended up being my best friends) lucky day when they find out about this kid being available.

Black male born December 2021 - 3.5 yrs old.

He has been returned. I really want to say due to no fault of his own because he is a very very good boy that has yet to do any wrong since being with my family friend on their farm with other animals which of course are fenced away from him. He doesn’t mind them at all and is more worried about where his current person is. Typical Dane, Was told he can be pushy towards regular visiting technicians at his old home but never bit anyone or attempted to. Just lots of loud barking and slobbering everywhere all the time. I can see the slobber part for sure with those cute big jowels.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to leave my home for a ten hour round trip at the time he needed to be removed from his previous home. After several extra days there my very good friend was able to go get him and take him to a family members farm where he has been for a couple weeks now.

What we know:
Raised with cats
Raised with a female Dane
Walks great on leash
Sits on demand
Rides well in car
Doesn’t mind horses
Is a little shy when meeting strangers as most Danes can be but warms up and loves to do typical Dane stuff like help work around the yard and lean as needed. 🖤

He has not been around children that we know of. Unless extremely experienced with Danes would rather know he had the choice of a home with older children or even him as the only child.

I’m happy to go into more detail and help you decide if he’d possibly be a good fit by what I know and what his current family foster home has learned. If we chat and it works out that you meet him then he goes home with you we will do a night by night sleep over for at least two weeks to ensure he is happy. Him being an adult Dane and accustomed to certain things, he may not like specifics we don’t know until he’s experienced them. We are willing to give him time to make sure his next home is forever. He deserves it.

An informational post about our summer plans and future pups…

Secret is definitely looking and acting pregnant now. Her retirement litter is due to arrive first week in June. Early deposit wait list is continuous with deposits going towards hers or waiting for a pup further in the future from another mom/dad pairing. I’m all about planning for your pup and being prepared when they go home. Some families have waited years on the early deposit wait list for their best timing. It’s all about what’s best for you and making sure you’re locked in to get to choose a pup when you are ready. A few colors have a much higher demand than others and knowing that before you’re ready to move forward may be important.

Per my usual, life has been busy. I scanned my texts this morning and realized there are many inquiries I promised to get back to and never did. If you’re one of those texts please reach out again if still interested. I apologize for forgetting. It happens a lot since I try my hardest to live life in the moment without my phone being in my hand. It’s never against my inquiring families or to seem as if I didn’t approve your application. It’s all about timing and who is meant to stand out to get my attention and make sure a Garner Dane will be in their future. I wish I had more time to easily get back to everyone who is deserving of a Dane. I’ve found that to be impossible these days since they’re getting more known/desired than back in the day when I started this giant Dane life. I am blessed to get so much interest and appreciate each of you. My intention is never to be rude and miss your call/text. Please text me again. It’s never a bother. I promise.

IF YOU’RE HAVING TO SAVE UP OR CANT AFFORD THE FLEA AND TICK PREVENTATIVES THAT ACTUALLY WORK…

We use Bravecto. It lasts for three months and is administered orally as a beef chew. My secret to being able to afford them for all of my XL Danes is Canada vet dot com. Since doubling in price at most vets offices in the last couple of years I had to find a more affordable place to purchase all of mine. I started ordering last year and haven’t been disappointed in the least. They are legit. No script needed. The only downside is shipping and the three weeks it takes to arrive.
Hopefully we can help some furkids stay flea and tick free this year! Plus Bravecto is known to help with different skin issues. They also offer many other brands you may use. It’s definitely worth checking out. I know many breeders and families that have been ordering from the website for years and years without any discrepancies
