CHANGE IN HOURS: Seminole County Animal Services has updated its operating hours! In order to enhance our service to the community and provide better care for our resident animals, adoption hours now extend beyond regular office hours until 6pm, Monday through Friday. Moreover, by shifting lobby and adoption hours to later in the day, our staff can dedicate the mornings to animal enrichment programs aimed at exercising and nurturing our furry residents more effectively.

New Hours of Operations effective March 1, 2024:

Monday to Friday:
🐾 Lobby 10am – 6pm
🐾 Adoption 12pm – 6pm

Saturday:
🐾 Lobby 8am – 5pm
🐾 Adoption 10am – 4pm

🌹Rosie is looking for her forever home. 🏡

Sadly one of the dogs in her new home didn't get along with Rosie and her adopter had to make the hard decision to return her to Halifax Humane Society in hopes they can find this puppy a home.

Rosie is only a year old.

Additional background. Rosie was found by my mom on Dec. 9. After her stray hold at Halifax, my mom fostered her through the holidays and Rosie did great with my mom's two female smaller dogs. (30 lbs) Unfortunately, Rosie jumped the 4ft fence and had to go back to the shelter since they couldn't contain her. She was immediately adopted into a great home with other dogs. She was returned earlier this month because one of the dogs didn't like her puppy energy. Please share to get Rosie seen. She is a very sweet girl. I'd take her myself, but my dogs aren't fans of puppies.
