Encore Sporthorse, Inc. in Sanford NC, home of Gold medalist Susan Wiedman.

We are looking for a hard working, motivated individual wanting to further their knowledge to be part of an awesome team.

Must be 18+ Duties include being part of a team feeding and turning in/out 20-25 horses, grooming, tacking up, cleaning tack, daily cleaning of barns and water troughs, keeping things organized and running smoothly, holding for vets/farriers/chiropractors.

Riding lessons and opportunities based on skill set and comfortability. Multiple clinicians come on site.

Living quarters, board for one horse and weekly stipend!

We had a great time last weekend hosting Jan Leitschuh for a Christmas Obstacles and Exposures Clinic! It was an excellent time to work on building our relationship & trust with our horses.

Congratulations to our fearless racing team 😜braving the chilly weather this morning to run in Fit and Ables Turkey Chase at Umstead Park. Kristin Mitcham,Susan Wiedman, Allie Cothren, Cat Cozzi and Charlotte Meli ran well and had fun! Watch out ponies…

Congratulations to Kristin Mitcham on her blazing time and second place over all Female winner with a speedy 28:15 in the 5K!

Allie was 2nd in her age group with a speedy 1:03:53.

And Speedy Susie Wiedman won her age group in the 10K with a somewhat respectable time against a huge field of …1 but will take the win anyway 😁😁😁

Cat and Charlotte did great in the 5K and remarked how much they loved those hills….😁
