! Moose and Millie’s journey began when they were just days old, fragile and in need of care. Our friends at Scritch Kittens rescued them from the shelter, and in partnership with Every Pet’s Dream, they received medical care, spay/neuter, and everything puppies need to thrive.

We’re thrilled to share that both Moose and Millie have been officially adopted! They’ve gone from vulnerable newborns to cherished family members, each starting a new chapter filled with love.

This isn’t the first time Scritch Kitten and Every Pet’s Dream have teamed up to save lives, and it won’t be the last. Together, we’re making a difference—one rescue at a time. ! Fiona's journey is one of resilience and hope! This sweet senior girl, about eight years old, was abandoned at Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority, suffering from a pr*****ed va**na. She needed urgent care, and thanks to the incredible team at West Valley Pet Clinic, she had surgery and is now better than ever!

The best news? Fiona found her forever home! A wonderful, loving couple couldn't resist her charm and fell head over heels for her. Now she’s exactly where she belongs—safe, loved, and completely spoiled.

From being abandoned to being cherished, Fiona’s story is a reminder that senior dogs deserve just as much love and second chances as any other. We couldn’t be happier for her! 💖

is almost 15 years old, and life hasn’t been easy. We rescued her two years ago when her owner passed away and found her a loving home. But almost two years later, through no fault of her own, she is back with us. Now, she’s facing a new challenge—diabetes. Managing her insulin has been a journey, but she meets it with patience and trust.
Every day, Alice and all the incredible animals who find their way to us remind us why this work matters. It’s not about the struggle, the exhaustion, the shelter BS, or the heartbreak—it’s about them—the ones who have no voice, no choice, the ones who still believe in love despite everything. They don’t ask for much, just kindness, warmth, and a place to rest their heads.
So, no matter how hard it gets, we keep going. Because they deserve that and more.

! Meet Elario, whose name means ‘cheerful’ in Italian—a fitting name for a dog who deserves a bright new chapter and fills our days with cheer. This sweet senior is ready for a future filled with calm and loving companionship. He gets along well with other dogs/cats and is bravely learning to walk on a leash in this big, sometimes scary world. Here’s to new beginnings for Elario!

Visit No. 2: Spreading Smiles with Patches! 🥰

This week, Patches brought joy to the wonderful residents at Atria in Sunnyvale. It’s clear he has a special gift—making people smile! The residents loved hearing his story, spending time with him, and were already asking when he’d visit again.

As many of you know, Patches’s journey is nothing short of incredible. We rescued him from severe neglect that left him blind, he never lost his loving spirit. He continues to inspire everyone he meets, proving that resilience and kindness know no bounds.

! Prince William Update: A Royal Success Story! 👑🐾

It’s been 6 months since our dapper boy Prince William found his forever home, and his adopter has the sweetest update to share!

“He is doing so great. He is slowly becoming wonderfully social—spending today snacking on bacon and exploring antique shops in Alameda. He loves his dog sister and snores like a boar. He also loves wearing his white ‘feel better sweater’ and is endlessly confused by the handsome dog in the mirror. But he is such a wonderful little guy. We daily talk about how we won the dog lotto with him.”

! 🐶 When we first met Pickles, he was a scared pup at the shelter, unsure of the world around him. But thanks to our amazing foster home, he flourished, gaining confidence and love every step of the way.

Today, we are overjoyed to announce that Pickles has found his forever home! He now has the best dad ever, a wonderful pitbull sibling, and even a cat to share his life with. His journey from scared shelter pup to a beloved family member is heartwarming.

🌟 : We are proud to share that Patches, our resilient and loving two-year-old French bulldog, has officially joined the Visiting Pals Program in collaboration with our friends at Palo Alto Humane Society!

Patches’ story is truly special. We rescued him after severe neglect, which tragically caused him to lose his eyes. Despite his past, Patches brings unconditional love and compassion to everyone he meets.

Last week, Patches had his first assignment at Oakmont Assisted Living and Memory Care, where he brought joy, comfort, and countless smiles to residents and staff. He did a fantastic job, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Thank you to the Palo Alto Humane Society for making this heartwarming partnership possible. Patches is a shining example of how rescue's love and care can transform lives, and now he’s sharing his light with others. 💕

. Our amazing vet at Valley Pet Clinic couldn’t be more pleased with Max’s progress. This sweet senior boy has healed beautifully after being hit by a car last month resulting in several pelvic fractures. We are beyond grateful for the exceptional care at our vet and in his loving foster home! Max is on the mend and looking to starting his next chapter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️wvpc

! Meet Max, the sweetest 12-year-old senior boy who has truly proven how strong he is. When we rescued him a month ago from the shelter, he was in bad shape, and honestly, we didn’t think he was going to make it. He had been hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis in multiple places.

We placed him on strict crate rest to heal. At first, Max was sad, painful, and barely able to move, but with dedicated care and pain management, he’s made incredible progress. Today, he’s wagging his tail, eating well, and recovering beautifully.

Max is looking forward to the next chapter of his life, one filled with love, and good health. We couldn’t be more proud of this brave little guy! 🐾❤️
