Basket Muzzles can be very useful tool once dogs are conditioned to like them. They often allow dogs to do things safely that they could not do otherwise. They have many uses to prevent risk of bite to work on issues, to prevent dangerous eating of objects, allowing staff during vet exams to use less restraint and help staff relax during exams, which helps the dog to be less stressed, and more. Look at these big lovers. Charmers both.

Reminder to keep your animals away from festivities. Indoors in quiet area with lights on and sound machines if fireworks or other noise and great snacks and chews. Bring your animals in early. Double check all animals have your cell and street address on good tags. Remember many of our party foods are toxic to animals. Keep them in stress free zone away from guests. You can take turns keeping your animals company. If you have a sitter, add a tag with sitter information too. Photo for decoration. Happy New Year!!

Anyone tried this one? Looks good as long as it comes with a belt option. Clips don't work for me. I have already damaged my fancy multi chamber one I used at shelter. Maybe I can bring it to tailor to repair. It is nice for carrying multiple foods and supplies. This one looks simple if I don't need the extras.

It is important to understand noise and movement is a warning from a dog. It is communication. The dog that concerns me most is silent and goes straight to injuring another being. Warning is a good sign. Failing to understand that is to not understand dog behavior. Never punish warnings or turn them off. To be safe you need to know what is causing the dog's concern. Most dogs make noise and that is normal and expected. What is the injury that I take incredibly seriously. My PSI for today. 😉
