Love this. We have a tendency to anthropomorphize our horses, and to the detriment of both horse and rider. What if instead of saying the horse acted up in a class because “he hates me” we assumed the best of him and checked if pain, mistrust, poor training, or just being to fresh or too tired are the reason.
