Took Cartel & Scrim to Riverfront today for Scrim’s first trail ride (and second post track ride at all 🤭) and I couldn’t be more proud of how they both handled it. Jess’s first time on Cartel & he walked right in the water like a seasoned pro. Sometimes my job is pretty fun

Fun times were had by all at Rockin’ 65’s very first Intro to Horses kids camp! Couldn’t have done it without my besties help & my husband’s horses (they’re not quite ready for the OTTBs) 🤪

I will be running the kids camp this day, but for those not attending my camp there is a fun little playday happening at the Wranglers arena!

Looking for something to do with the family this weekend? We are hosting a change of venue for a Unicorn Themed Playday this Sunday June 29th! Divisions based on age, and entry based on membership - we will have plenty of forms at the event and if you join morning of you pay the member rate! Look forward to seeing you all there.

Lua is a ~2yo female (spayed) GSD weighing all of maybe 45-50 # who is looking for her next active and engaged person or family! She is good with dogs, goats, ducks, chickens, horses, donkeys etc. but allegedly not cats (from what I was told, I have not seen or worked it firsthand). Knows sit, place, down & has a decent recall. Good & gentle with kids. Settles once everyone else is. Loves car rides, just happy to be involved, but also will not destroy your house if left alone. Eats fine in a multi-dog environment, no resource guarding. Needs to be introduced to new dogs in a controlled manner, working on appropriate greeting rituals (this is getting better but just takes time and maturity). Easily excited & can be strong on leash as such.

Will come with a week’s worth of her current food regimen, her bed, a collar, leash and some left over treats/heartgard. Currently lives in a 7 dog (3 duck & 2 goat) household in Santa Rosa, CA & visits a horse ranch (with chickens) daily. PM me to setup a meeting.
