Spa day for Beline now Princess! Princess is getting prepped to make her trek to Tyler Texas. She is going to her forever home Sunday♥️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Princess is getting adopted by the two wonderful women who fostered her first with her 5 puppies. This is an example of it takes a Village♥️
Once Princess is home and the moms have a chance they will provide to me family photos I will post all the adoption families.

You will be missed🥰

Two busy family’s adoptions this week. Tricky to get a picture in front of the tree with all the kids.
Both families are thrilled to add to their happy loving homes.
Thanks to Ruth for sourcing a lovely family for Peppermint Patty in California and Sage was adopted by Cynthia’s daughter Victoria and her family in Chicago.
Belines puppies are well loved and will have permanent homes.

This is an update on Beline and her pups. Two pups are not in the pictures as they are spoken for.
Beline and her individual pups will be available for adoption close to Christmas or New Years.
Feel free to im Cynthia regarding interest.
Beline is a great mom who is tiring of nursing. Pups are getting supplemented meals and developing at a normal rate.

Nalas death was a devastatingly painful shock but this rescue is not taking this sitting down by becoming a victim they are taking action. Please support them in any way you can.

💕Happy Sunday 💕 Just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You all so much for your inspiring & thoughtful messages. We are completely overwhelmed by the amount of people Nala has touched. Please bare w/ us as we are replying to each of you. We have thousands of messages (literally). Nalas death will NOT be in vain. We believe she has to be apart of something much larger & that she will help save countless lives by bringing more awareness.

We are currently creating billboards to be seen far & wide to being awareness to such tragedies.

We have created “Nalas Legacy” which will consist of a panel of Law Enforcement, Attorneys, Vets & AC officers etc that will be available to ANY rescue to review their current foster/adoption contracts as well as offer professional advice.

^^^ was created in Nala’s memory 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and is currently being constructed. It will be a NATIONAL database of animal abusers. This will be a great resource for not only rescues but also shelters, vets, neighbors etc. This is gonna be amazing as this data base has never been in the making 🥰

We are still working out the details for Nala’s memorial but hopefully it will include a billboard close to OCAS (the shelter we originally rescued her from), A painting inside OCAS and an adoption event that would include all of us as volunteers. Allowing the the doggies to get some xtra loving, playtime & baths and allow us to assist that day in adoptions

UPDATE 4/22/21: Still at SEAACA with no rescue in sight. All of our hearts are breaking for this sweet, patient dog.

I’ve been wanting to write a thread for adorable Hank since he has been languishing for 35 long days at the highest kill “shelter” in Los Angeles.

Even though SEAACA is on shutdown the moment I saw his original photo I could tell 71 lb Hank is a REALLY nice, patient dog. Yet I knew.
I knew he would have problems getting out safely💔.

But in the last month (as always) we have dealt with so many SOS’s and deadline dogs and cats and poor Hank has slipped off everybody’s radar. I even put up an ancillary thread for him but it stalled and Hank has NOTHING going on.

When he came in we called to get his age and they told us one to five years old. And I knew again. There was no way.
I don’t trust SEAACA at ALL. As you all know they are reckless, disorganized and beyond brutal😔.

And sure enough, on the code red list it said that Hank is actually eight years old, now neutered, has cloudy eyes and dental tartar.
In the three weeks that he has been code red the ONLY notes that have been added is that they noticed he had “cropped ears“.
And in all the time that we have been HOPING for someone, ANYONE to notice how special he is at this poor excuse of a “shelter” which is so quick to label behavior they have not added one behavior note.
OUR HANK IS A GOOD BOY‼️

But I just checked his original thread and the last comment was a week ago. Honestly I am ANGRY and HEARTBROKEN about it. It’s because Hank is a tan pitbull and doesn’t have a “dramatic” story.
I had a WONDERFUL tan pitbull for many years. Once someone actually said to my face that my dog was a “plain wrap dog”.
I nearly hit that person. Now I have two black, senior dogs; dogs who are also historically passed over because they don’t show well or “pop”.

So I think Hank is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside and out and worth fighting for❤️.

But what’s going to happen when we have two or more emergencies this week as always? Is everybody going to forget about Hank AGAIN?

Please finally RALLY for Hank. Don’t YOU think it is finally HIS turn for a chance at a happy life?

There is no doubt in my mind that SEAACA will s***f out this precious dog’s life just because he’s been there too long. Please pledge, share and network for reputable rescue before it is too late.

It is up to ALL of us if our sweet Hank will find a soft, compassionate place to land with a wonderful rescue or if his last sad walk will be to the eternal darkness of the horrific kill room.

Burt came into my life via the Monterey SPCA but returned to the Salinas Animal Shelter.
It was as close to love at first sight for me. With Peace of Mind Dog Rescue as a partner we pulled him knowing he had medical issues and some neglect not likely he would make it out of a shelter environment and get adopted.
We discovered he had Valley Fever and began the arduous treatment and ongoing tests. Eventually he began to walk again and played with my french bull dog Maxmillion.
Burt got a second chance at having a permanent family full of love all for his own.
This lovely family adopted and continued the medical care as needed. After a few years of care and wonderful home his body began to give way to his illness and a decision was made in his best interest to let him go😢 Ranger Burt made everyone he met fall in love with him and was an exceptional buddy to all even his step brother a small spicy chi dog.
Ranger Burt you have touched many lives and will be remembered for ever♥️
