A heartwarming success story of Cleo and her kittens 🐾

Cleo was abandoned by her owners in below-freezing temperatures. She was cold, hungry, pregnant, and scared, hiding from the harsh conditions. With the help of our volunteers, Cleo began to warm up to us and gave birth to five healthy kittens.

Today Cleo and her kittens are all placed in cozy homes, filled with love and care 🏡❤️🐱

If you’re thinking ahead at the start of a new year, it’s time find a new best buddy to spend it with. With my pretty coat and huge smile – I’d be the perfect addition! I’m fun, snuggly and I love to play. I have a little hearing loss but I’ve been listening for a call from a family of my own for way too long. So, please let me bring some New Year’s joy into your life.

But let me tell you, before I got here, my story was very different… (Warning: You may need a tissue!) I was homeless and living a life filled with pain, hunger and fear, when a good Samaritan found me. She opened her car door and her heart to let me in, then took me to where I could heal.

I was scared at first when I came into rescue. Because of all the patience and love the people here gave me, I’m becoming the playful, loving, and confident pup I was born to be.

Want to know what my New Year’s resolution is? Finding a home of my own! And you can help me meet my goal by welcoming me into your family. At just under 8 pounds, I’m barely bigger than a kitten but packed full of love. I’ll even greet you at the door when you come home and celebrate with you all year long!

I was hungry, pregnant, and homeless. Sadly, most of my babies died from starvation. I was so scared when I was rescued that I wouldn’t let anyone near me at first. Through patience and love from GARC's volunteers slowly but surely my true self came out. Now, here I am, a playful, loving, confident cat.

But now it’s time for my forever home, and I hope you’ll take me in…

The start of the New Year is all about looking ahead. And that’s what I’m doing – looking forward to joining a family! I get along with cats, dogs and children of all ages! I’ve been in foster care for two years – nearly my whole life – so starting 2025 in a home of my own is my dream. Let’s start the new year off right, with a belated holiday gift for your loving family – and me!

I’m sweet and gentle in nature even though I haven’t always been treated well. As a pup on the street, I was thin, malnourished, and frightened, wandering North Tulsa, hungry and abused.

A good Samaritan started feeding me, until I finally let them lead me indoors. Then, they called Grace Animal Rehab Center. I was pretty much skin and bones, but slowly, with much love and nutritional food, they brought me up to my ideal weight.

I’ve learned to love living indoors and being a pet, but I'm a bit skittish around strangers because of my past life when people weren’t kind. If you adopt me, GARC will guide you on how to ease that in a very short time.

Happy New Year.
