This week has been an emotional one for all of us here! On Wednesday, we said goodbye to Hazel as she left for her forever home, and today, Gus, Gideon, and Gerdy are off on their new adventures, too. 💛

While we’ll miss these sweet mini donkeys, we’re so excited for the lives they’re about to start with their wonderful new families. They’ve brought so much joy to our hearts, and we’re grateful to have been part of their journey. Wishing them all the love and happiness they deserve in their forever homes! 🏡✨

Good luck, Hazel, Gus, Gideon, and Gerdy! You will always have a place in our hearts. 💖

Last night we said our goodbyes to our sweet Darla as she headed off to her new forever home. Bentley will surely miss his little companion, but we know she’s going to be showered with so much love and care in her new place. 💕 It’s always bittersweet, but we’re excited to see her thrive in this new chapter. Wishing Darla all the best!

What a busy summer it’s been! Last week we spent every day at the Kent County Youth Fair with Kena showing her pigs! We had the pleasure of purchasing a couple young ladies market chicken projects. We are already chatting about and looking forward to next year! Trying to convince them they need to have a mini donkey show class 😏🫏

It’s been a busy few weeks! All 5 babies have been born as of this morning.

Here are our first 4! Once the vet checks baby 5, I will post her as well (we always have the vet check mom and baby the day after birth-this is totally normal).

It’s always sad saying goodbye but knowing the love they will be getting from their new homes is wonderful. Dottie and Hazel will get to still be together and get spoiled at their new home 💕

While this breaks our hearts to do this, we knew it would happen in time.

Because we don’t need 3 studs, we are looking for a new home for Creed. He’s 6 years old, intact and proven.

We’re also looking for a new home for Hazel. We believe she’s also around 6 years old. She has been exposed to Creed, but we don’t believe she is pregnant. She is quite shy still but has come a long ways since we brought her home in 2021 where she had been used as a guard animal in Nebraska.

Cooler nights are for zoomies! Stella’s not quite ready for her baby to play yet

We welcomed the last baby of 2022 last night! Stella finally decided she was ready to have this little guy last night as we were headed to bed (or so we thought). He’s still figuring things out but you can tell he’s going to be fun!

In the middle of the day on Father’s Day, Butter decided it was time to have her baby! This sweet, frisky boy, Dunkin is giving mom a run for her money! This was his first time outside last week after being born out in the pasture. He is already spoken for.

Winter boredom has set in and everyone needs a little entertainment. Katie and Lily needed something to help them burn some energy so they stop stealing my rake every day when I’m doing chores.
