Horses, like humans, can form strong bonds of friendship. Sometimes we all just need to spend time with a friend. Watching these beautiful animals interact with each other is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our human relationships. 💕

We are so thankful for all the help and kindness we received after Hurricane Milton! We want to give a huge shout-out to the Cardinal Mooney Equestrian Club members who came out to work side by side with some of our own riding students on 10/14 to clean up our stables and groom storm sullied equines so we could bring our horses back home. Everyone pulled together to get a tough job done. Thanks to Jeanne Schiebel, the Eq, club director, for reaching out at our time of need and for being hands-on in the clean-up effort.

We had such a wonderful day connecting with families, first responders and hospital personnel at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital outpatient care center in Lakewood Ranch for their “Spring into Safety” community event. Disney and Midnight enjoyed spending time with everyone.
Special thanks to our volunteers Rebecca and Alisa for being on hand to share the joy that our amazing equines delivered. ❤️

WOW!!! We are overwhelmed by the support that we received this ! With this being our FIRST time participating in this amazing 24-hour fundraising event we didn't know what to expect, and WOW we are so incredibly touched and thankful for all the donors who chose to for Horse Connection SRQ! A huge thank you to the Community Foundation of Sarasota County for presenting this amazing event and a special thank you to The Patterson Foundation for strengthening the giving with their 1:1 match for all donations up to $100. With your help we almost TRIPLED our initial goal of $5,000! From all of our horses and humans we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 🐴💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

APRIL 9-10 | NOON to NOON

𝙷𝚘𝚛𝚜𝚎 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚗𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚂𝚁𝚀 is incredibly excited to be participating in the Giving Challenge for the first time this year! 🐎

We are raising funds to enhance our therapeutic Equine Facilitated Learning program by building shade structures over our arena. With your help we can ensure the comfort and safety of our participants and horses from the Florida weather, especially the summer heat. These shade structures will allow our participants to focus on healing and growth without the discomfort of sweltering heat and exposure to the sun.

The 𝙶𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚐𝚎 is a 24-hour online giving event hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County that connects about 700 nonprofit organizations with passionate donors and community members!

“Biggun” is one of our rescue horses. He’s a big sweetheart, and is totally in love with his girlfriend, Misty. Misty, whose name is actually “Anacacho’s Crystal Mystery” Is one of our wonderful horses who partners with our EFL participants and loves to spend time with them. ❤️❤️
