"Manly" has been an amazing pup his whole life and he is still going strong. That's saying something for a Senior! Yes, "Manly" is 15 years, 5 months when he got this new title. Born 8/21/2009! I always told him he was a shorthair like all the other kids at the Ranch. I think he actually believes it 🤣. I have been advocating that people need to keep their Senior activate mentally and physically and "Manly", is my oldest here. I am very proud of this boy and I hope that he decides to bless us with his wonderful personality and kind soul much longer. Big congrats my boy ❤️. Picture is of Manly and me when he was a pup and starting his field trial experience and that was a great day....we went for blue and come back with blue all those years ago.

Yesterday was FastCat day for PVR Kennels with 4 kids entering the event at Solano College Fairfield with Hound Association of Nothern Calif. Very professionally run event 👏👍
Two of the kids "Ayra" 10 years 6 months and "Mustang" 5 years 5 months added to their points towards their DCAT titles. Brought another retired girl Daisy 8 years 4 months and V***n 6 years 3, months to try their luck. Happy to say that all qualified with lightning speeds.🐾🥳 and screams of excitement. It was a dog's weekend.

PVR had a Great day at Santa Clara Dog Training Club in Lodi yesterday. This beauty "Winnie" took 2nd place the first time out in Beginning Obedience A. Big Congrats to Winnie and her mom Melissa. She has done some amazing accomplishments with her first GSP pup.

Recently PVR dogs tried another Dog Sport "FastCat", here are the first participants in this new sport for us. I just received notification that "Mustang" 5.4 years and "Ayra" 10.5 years just received their new BCAT titles. The youngest "Keeper" 5 months did his first fun run and I think will be addicted to the sport when he hits 1 year. And again with my belief that all senior dogs are special gave "Pilot" 11 years a go! Pilot is now half way though her points towards her BCAT. She is a poster "fur paw" for "Seniors that Rock" 🐾💓

Update
Puppy #3 of the Baseball Team just got her first photo session.

Her daddy flew in from New York
last Thursday to have her fly in the cabin with him. I was told she sleep all the way home🐾👍.

I am happy to say that last Saturday 2 pups from the "Baseball Litter" hit home runs and are with their new parents. Two more will be leaving the dugout this week. I still have one in the dugout who is looking for their first hit. She had a strike out because her home end up working out due to health issues in that family. The best solution was bat again 👍

I can't believe that we are 6 days into Nov. It seems the days just fly by and with that said,I want to wish a Happy Belated Birthday to the Autumn Memories Litter. Born 10/22/21.
This litter produced an amazing pup "Winnie" That i want to give a special shout out to🎉🥳

I love this when my pup parents send me these photos of how their PVR'S kids are so much part of the family. Here is their Daddy sporting a shirt with GSP'S on it and two bandannas that were sent by relatives. They know the love they have for their "twins as the family calls them. Clover has her's on and in the background brother "Tag" with his. He was just not in a group picture.🤣🤣.

Today at the English Cocker Spaniel club of Northern California, this spunkie "Senior" 13 year 9 1/2 month old, added to her Q's in Scent Work Novice Elite by passing Q # 5 in Novice Elite Interior and Exterior and acing her first past in "Advance Exterior", a 🎉👏🐾, so very proud of this girl.
