Unlike cats and dogs, a rabbit’s feet lack padding. Because of this hard wood floors are a lot like ice rinks for them. Sadly this also means they are prone sore hocks when on rough surfaces. This is why rabbits should never be in wire bottom cages and should always have a mat or rug access when on hard wood floors.

Bonding is so such an important part of giving your bunny a happy and healthy life. There are many reasons a bunny cannot be bonded to anyone but if and when you decide to add another bunny to your family remember bonding can take a long time, months even. The most important part of bonding it to make sure all bunnies are safe at all times. Thank you to Milo and Beni (Formerly Noon) for demonstrating bonding over food!

Depending on size domestic rabbits can live over a decade. Most bigger rabbits will live anywhere from 8-10 years old while smaller breeds can live to 10-12 years old. The worlds oldest rabbit lived to 16! A big thing to consider when adopting a rabbit. They are a decade plus of love and care.

Hello! We would like to start off this post by thanking our amazing team of fosters. Because of them not only have we been able to take in more bunnies but we’ve been able to provide them with ample space, time and affection while they wait for their forever homes. Their dedication, hard work and love for bunnies have helped us and so many bunnies. Thank you to our amazing foster team for all you do. We would like to extend the offer to become a foster to anyone interested who has the space, time and love to help our sweet rescues. What our team does for us is incredible but we would love to expand so that we can save more bunnies and give them a safe and loving place they can call home until they are adopted. If you have space in your home and heart to foster a bunny please reach out to us to hear about how you can apply to be a foster as well as details about fostering.
