Storybook Babysitting

Good afternoon, I wanted reminder y'all that August 23rd, I will be starting a nannying position every Monday and Thursday. On top of that an unexpected blessing came this week as well, I was offered a job at my school to work in our afterschool program for the kindergarten class and pre-school class. This position is Monday-Friday 3pm to 5pm. Due to this my availability will be pretty limited. Saturdays will be my most open day but keep in mind the further you book out the better. If you need me on another day don't be scared to ask I might just have an opening. Hope you have a great rest of your day!

Storybook Sundays!!

This week's book is "Charlotte's Web"!! Unlike the other book reviews I've done this one is a chapter book! Great for 2nd or 3rd graders ready to brave a chapter book. This classic book talks about the most unlikely friends, who in the end, one saves the other for being harmed! We could all use a friend like that!

Storybook Sundays!!

I know, I missed last weeks Storybook Sunday's, but I'm back on track!!

This week's book is "Green Eggs and Ham" one of the most well known Dr. Seuss book out there! Like all of Dr. Seuss books, it's silly, but teaches an important lesson. This one being, that you should try new thing, no matter how weird they look, and even if they're green! It also gives you a creative way to make breakfast for your kids! One of my favorite memories was when my 3rd grade teacher made us green eggs and ham for Dr. Seuss Day!!

Storybook Sundays!!

"Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?" This book was my absolute favorite book. There's nothing special about it, no important meaning. It's just about observing things, and yet I would walk around quoting the book. I still could quote it to this day! Top ten would recommend for your child!

Storybook Sundays!!!

This week book is "Rudolph the Red Nose Reinder". This is one of the most classic Christmas stories out their. Everyone now the song and the story, but how many of you think about the meaning as you read it? We all have something unique about us, some more noticeable then others. That unique thing makes you who you are, and you shouldn't be ashamed of that unique thing!! Who knows maybe one day that unique thing will be need for a certain job and only you would be able to do it!!

Storybook Sundays!!!

The name "Storybook Babysitting" came from my own personal love for book. I also believe it's a creative outlet for kids and a great way to take a break from the screen. So every Sunday I'll be posting out a storybook that I recommend for your kids!

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is a great Christmas story with an amazing life lesson, that's often forgotten. It's about how Christmas isn't just about the present we get or the tree that we decorate. It's about the time we spend together!
