My name is Evelyn. I'm from Heidelberg, Germany, but I have a lengthy history in Arizona, and I currently reside in and serve the areas of Phoenix between the 17 and 51, including Arcadia, and all of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley!
Welcome to my mobile grooming salon, "My Doggie's Home Spaw."
I am a Master groomer, with 30 years of expertise in grooming all dog breeds and nearly every mix you can imagine.
After many years of grooming I find myself specializing a little more in all x-small, small and medium sized breeds and mixes, as well as all doodles!
With this brand new PAWGO pet grooming van, I can once again groom larger dog breeds and mixes, as well. This state of the art grooming van comes with a PRO step-up ramp, and one of the best Electric Hydraulic Tables the Industry has to offer. It goes so low, that any dog, even small ones, can easily step up!
I offer regular modern pet grooming, as well as the old traditional method of hand stripping, or carding.
~ How it all began ~
Some of the fondest childhood memories I have are from when I was a little girl in Germany, and my grandmother had an in-home pet groomer visit us regularly to groom our family dog, a medium sized brown poodle by the name of Bunny. (She was slightly larger than a miniature poodle but not as big as a standard poodle.)
Sometimes the lady groomer would set up her grooming table in the upstairs bathroom, and other times, when the weather was nice, she would set up on the back patio, where I was able to watch... I was amazed, not only by our Poodle's transformation, but also by the
tender interaction between Bunny and her groomer.
Afterward our poodle felt wonderful, and was so happy, and looked "très chic," just like a French Poodle in Paris!
That is when I fell in love with pet grooming.
50 years have gone by since those first impressions as a child, and 30 years since I became a certified professional groomer, and I LOVE dogs and grooming them no less today! I am so grateful every day, and feel so lucky and blessed to be able to what I do!
So naturally, I would love to meet and be your pet's personal groomer, as well.

The following is included in all of my full-service grooms:
- pre-bath brush out
- up to 30 minutes of dematting, if necessary, or removal of undercoat
- sanitary trim
- shave down if the coat is too matted and can't be saved
- gentle removal of excess ear hair from inside the ears, if necessary, followed by ear cleaning
- a drop of oil to moisturize and protect your pet's eyes
- Toothbrushing, using enzyme-based chicken or turkey flavored pet toothpaste, and application of breath freshener
- a thorough bath, twice if the coat is very dirty, massaging PREMIUM shampoos and conditioners into you pet's coats and skin until it is relaxed, nourished and hydrated
- application of alcohol-based ear wash to evaporate any moisture in the ear canal
- blow drying, and "undercoat blowout"
- if necessary, leave in conditioner / detangler
- thorough brush-out after the bath and removal of undercoat
- or further dematting
- nail trim
- careful nail grinding
- allover haircut, using an electric clipper and hand sc******ng
- paw and pad trim
- application of moisturizing paw and nose butter
- a doggie, season or holiday themed bandana and / or bows
-PREMIUM Cologne Spritz
- a treat / cookie, if permitted, for your pet to take home
