“I got to experience the Elite Equipment drag last month while riding in Andrea Fappani’s symposium, and I was blown away! Dressage horses need their footing to be a bit different than western horses, and the drag was able to adjust the footing from one session to another with ease.”

Jesse Boyd delivered an Elite Equipment drag to Spirit Ranch AZ, home to Estival reining horses.

Lauren Ashley Media was there and captured the excitement as Jesse walked Glen-arthur Estival through the simple adjustments and shared tips to keep his footing in top shape. The two were all smiles and like kids in a candy store!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone for the remarkable response to the launch of our arena drag!
Initial orders have been received and the first batch is scheduled for completion by December 15th, with the second batch anticipated by January 15th. Andrea Fappani and Jesse Boyd are excited to showcase the drag in action next month in Las Vegas at the ALONG For The RIDE Symposium.

Our 𝙒𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙙 design offers a unique and 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 solution for material leveling and watering. Placing the manifold 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 the 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙚 and in 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩 of the 𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙝 ensures the material is properly mixed and rolled over after leveling. This setup eliminates the inefficiency of trying to level wet material prematurely and ensures a consistent surface finish.

Andrea Fappani and Jesse Boyd wanted the manifold 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 the drag, with a spray pattern matched to the drag’s width, you achieve even watering without overlap or waste, maximizing the efficiency of a single pass.

The low-profile water tank is another excellent feature, as it enhances visibility and maintains a low center of gravity, improving safety and stability during operation. These engineering decisions show a strong focus on precision, usability, and performance.

Our drag design excludes grooming rods, opting instead for two rows of strategically positioned 𝙍𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙝. One row behind the tires and the second row behind the watering system. In our assessment, teeth more effectively break up compacted footing and distribute moisture evenly, compared to rods.

We chose teeth off an excavator bucket for 𝘿𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 and 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 eliminating costly shipping and downtime.

Andrea Fappani and Jesse Boyd wanted the adjustment process to be a 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 process, requiring only the removal of a pin and incremental adjustments of 1/8" without the need for additional tools or getting on the ground. Traditional drags with grooming rods have 1” increment adjustments requiring multiple adjustments to other parts of the drag to get desired depth. Precision is a 🔑 component in getting consistent ground.

Who would like a 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙚 that you can
1. Actually see while driving.
2. Large enough to carry material without it spilling out the sides.
3. Doesn’t raise and lower at a speed that creates humps and low spots.

Current market designs make it difficult to obtain even, consistent ground. Andrea Fappani and Jesse Boyd wanted to improve all 3 of these concerns.

Our oversized leveling blade is at the front of the drag with boxed in sides, allowing you to carry material without spilling. They engineered the cylinders to move at a slower speed, to get more precise and consistent level footing, no matter the tractor.

We devoted significant time outside the arena to research and identify the most effective methods for delivering superior footing at home. We solicited feedback from drag users and addressed their concerns.

Andrea Fappani and Jesse Boyd collaborated with engineers to develop a drag featuring thoughtfully designed elements in a deliberate order, resulting in consistent ground that is simple to attain.
