During Vet Wellness month I believe it’s important to bridge the gap between veterinarians and their clients and any misunderstandings among the public about vets. We love pets just the same as you, but the growing rate of suicide among veterinarians is alarming and needs to be addressed.

The statistics I mention come from the Not One More Vet site, which is a resource for veterinary professionals, with the goal of transforming the status of mental wellness within the profession.
