For Dr. Cindy Otto, hemangiosarcoma isn’t just a disease; it’s a personal mission. After witnessing countless dogs suffer from this aggressive cancer, Dr. Otto is now leading groundbreaking research to train dogs to detect it early through their incredible sense of smell.

Using blood samples from our Golden Retriever Lifetime Study and other sources, Dr. Otto's team hopes to develop a diagnostic test that could change the future of hemangiosarcoma detection.
