We are very excited to announce that we have confirmed Snow White bred via A.I. to one of our favorite bucks - NC Promisedland HS White Cloud! White Cloud was our 2013 premiere sire, produced 2 ADGA breed leaders, and numerous champion daughters (hard to track as he was transfered to ADGA as an aged boy). Those who knew and saw his offspring will always remember Rainy, Sunny, Charlie, and Madeline! These girls would be very relevant in today's competition! I know he will increase production, strong dairy bone, and gorgeous heads. ❤️❤️❤️

Snow gave us triplets late in 2023, and we greedily retained all 3 - Claudette, Laurette, & Paulette. I knew I wanted just the *right* home for them or they would stay with me. When I met Isaac of ICE Acres Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats , I knew this was a herd that was going places! So last month I sent Laurette to Florida. Our confidence in them as a team is shown here with smiles and ribbons! Congratulations Isaac and Urban Acres OA-M Laurette!

What is your most memorable buck collection story? I've heard bucks that will only jump other bucks, bucks that fainted (non-myotonic), many memorable missed targets... what's yours?

We had a great collection over the last 2 days. Thank you Levi Campbell and Jake of Cryo Caprine, we enjoyed having you out. And all our wonderful attendees that made it so much fun! Winter is the time to put up cheese and other dairy around here. Temps are in the low 40s at night, so no need to refrigerate milk overnight. Saved a couple days worth of milk to separate into cream, then into over 5 # of cultured butter! Its devine! These little cream separators off amazon leave some fairly good skim milk that is then used to make chevre style cheese.

The majority of the herd will be dried off this week, so may only do one more run of cream. Really not worth running anything less than 3 gallons through the machine. I want to try english clotted cream :)

Not what I had planned for the morning, but when the hay guy says he is delivering you hop to! It's been raining for weeks, with very little break, so we had to take brief wind we had this morning. The sight of a year's worth of hay (give or take) warms my heart! Thank you to Fish Farm hay sales for candy orchard/alfalfa mix the goats go crazy for, and "crack" 4th cutting alfalfa for milkers!

Whiskey is one tired boy after his long trek to ADGA convention at the Grand Geneva Resort in Wisconsin! Come say hi. He isn't much of a cookie monster (yet, give Melanie time...) but he LOVES his horn buds & pompedor scratched!

Thank you Renee Wolfivan Ranch of putting together this collage of the sire side for Whiskey ❤️ I absolutely love Ginger root, the 2024 National Champion and bought semen from her littermate as soon as it was available a couple years ago. I knew Snow would be the perfect match, and their son is STUNNING.
