That’s a wrap!

The last dog has officially been sent home. 🐶

These last 3 years have been so wonderful, and I can’t begin to express how much I’ve loved this journey and the relationships I’ve built with these pups and their owners.

I am SO excited to fully be able to focus on this chapter of my life, being a mom! I was nervous of what the responses would be, but everyone has been so supportive of our decision. Thank you all!! ❤️🐩🤗

With a heavy heart, we have come to the difficult decision to close our doors.

We cannot stay open AND allow me to stay home with my baby. I wanted so badly to do both, and I fought to do both, but it’s not been possible. Ultimately, it’s more important to me and Jordan that I stay home with our baby.

Your pups have become like my own and I will miss them terribly. Jordan and I are so grateful for all of your love and support as we built this business from the ground up.

Going forward, I will honor the appointments that we have remaining to give you all time to find a new groomer. But we will not be able to book any more.

Our baby boy came a little bit early! 💙 We will close the next two weeks, and reschedule everyone’s appointments for two weeks from now, the week of May 15th. Your appointment will be the same day and time as it would have been this week. If that time doesn’t work for you please let me know and we will find a different time for you. Thank you for understanding!

In honor of my third anniversary of grooming, I thought I’d post a DIFFERENT kind of before-and-after photos.

These are some of my longest clients whom I started with, and they’ve stayed with me since I started. 🐶 Each picture shows an earlier groom, compared to a recent groom of the same dog.

It’s safe to say I’ve learned a LOT in 3 years! I’m always studying, observing, and learning more and more to be the best I can be. Each client has seen subtle changes to their trim over time to get to where they are, as I developed a style of my own. I hope to never stop learning!

There are a lot more than these, I just wanted to share a few! So grateful to clients like these for sticking with me, even back when their haircuts were, well, less than perfect. I have the coolest job. 😊

Everyone meet the newest member of our team, Emily! I will be training her over the next few months to take the reins and keep our clients taken care of when I am home with the baby. She is currently learning to work with each coat type, bathing, brushing, and drying, as well as handling the different personalities in these pups! She has already impressed us with her hard work and abilities. She plans to start online grooming school this summer while she is with us. Welcome, Emily! 🐶🐾

I'm living my dream grooming the best dogs in town. But long before I had that dream, my dream was to be a stay at home mom. And soon I will be able to do that! 💙

Now that we are expecting our first baby, I'm going to step down from grooming. This decision was not taken lightly. But...... now we need someone to take care of our wonderful clients!

It was a very tough decision to stop grooming, but I will absolutely still be around, and hopefully come back when kids are in school. I love my job and my clients, and I want to make sure they are well taken care of in my absence.

Big announcement!!! We are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby boy in May!!! 💙

So, here’s what that means…..
At 20 weeks pregnant (Christmas week) I will no longer be grooming large dogs - 40lbs and up. I will still groom the little ones for as long as I can! But I will be listening to my body and my doctor and if it becomes too much I will stop. Hopefully I can keep going until the baby arrives! Grooming is hard work!

🐶 I will only be taking my current clients who are already maintaining a regular schedule. No new clients will be taken from the wait list.

🐶 Also, please be patient with me if your groom takes longer than normal. I’m moving a bit slower these days!

We are overjoyed with this news and so excited to share it with you!
