Rescued from euthanasia from a shelter in Seattle, Dash is 3 year old Dalmador (Dalmatian/Lab mix) looking for her forever home, while is currently at home with her foster parents. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in adopting!
Dash is incredibly sweet, curious, intelligent and very playful, yet is cautious and has a lot of separation anxiety due to being bounced inside of the shelter system. She loves to bring toys to play with you for social interactions, she is not vocal but will let you know if she needs something including going to potty. She is house trained, loves to run, hike, walk and play with the flirt stick or tug of war. She loves attention and being near people but not needy and loves her own space. She knows a sit command and sits before going on a walk to get her leash on mostly without a cue.
Her personality is loving, sweet and playful. She would make for an incredible companion. Main reason she was difficult to adopt is because she has a high separation anxiety and wasn't crate trained at the time which would require adopters to be home with her for the first introductory time to make sure she settles in. Her Foster parents are actively crate training her and seeing a lot of progress. If someone has the time, Dash will absolutely "get there", but she just needs some love patience and time to settle in and not be scared of change.
