Tomorrow, Saturday Oct 18th, we stand together as a Nation to show in numbers that we don’t allow fascists and want to be kings to lead this country. We gather in numbers in our cities and towns throughout our country in peaceful protest. We don’t show force even when force is thrown at us by Trump’s pathetic attempts (proud boys or MAGA or any other show of force through fear and hate) to make it look like “We the people” are insurrectionists. No, we march peacefully, we don’t advance on those showing force but rather sit and stay peaceful. We show our strength by keeping our cool, staying calm when faced by brut force and hatred, and continue with our peaceful march. We hold our community together and keep the vulnerable safe. For No Kings to be successful and to keep everyone safe we must stay peaceful. Together we will make change in our nation because there is no other way.

When Nola eats gross stuff at the park and her cute little butt explodes 💩 You quickly decide she should not run 3 miles with you. So I decided to try the new equipment in my building gym. 1 mile on treadmill (boring running indoors), 1.3 miles on elliptical (at least had a screen but still 🙄), and finally a couple miles on the peloton bike (butt went numb). Still, I got my 3 miles in with forms of exercise. Took Nola out for walk after and thankfully she seems to have gotten it all out 🤞🤞🤞💩🤞

Had to take Friday - Sunday off from running to let my knee recover. All it took was 1 run in a sneaker that was not a good fit for me and my knee was not happy for almost 2 wks. Sunday I didn’t even get out of my pj’s (Nola loved the ultra lazy day). But back at it tonight with my knee feeling so much better. Hindsight, I should have cut that original run short or at least switched out shoes but live and learn. No matter, back on track and enjoying my runs with Nola.

Wanted to share the end results of my Sept 30k challenge. I ended up running 45.61 miles in September so that means I more than doubled what was needed for a 30k. For October I joined the 50k plus some of the weekly challenges to keep me motivated. When you believe in yourself and don’t give a S**t what anyone else may say/think about you then you can do amazing things ♥️💪🏃‍♀️🎉
