The Red Blend Crew had a blast over the weekend at the Three Rivers Bird Dog Club’s hunt test. We are so incredibly proud of our pups and their amazing and dedicated owners.

We had three of our Wizards there (Jinx x Perrin). Dobby finished up his Junior hunter title and his sister Ginny earned three of the four passes needed for her’s. Sister Whisper earned two.

We had two M&M’s there too (Lyric x Mani). Cusco came out and got his first pass towards his Senior Hunter title and Jinx earned her first pass towards her Master Hunter Advanced title.

I am so thankful to all of our wonderful puppy homes that are out doing things and having fun with their pups. I loved watching them all run and I love spending time with them and their people. Thank-you TRBDC for another great hunt test and we are looking forward to this coming hunt test and field trial season!

Our Wizards (Jinx x Perrin) turned 6 months old last week and took being of legal age by storm. This weekend Whisper and Dobby each ran in Amateur Walking Puppy. Dobby took second of 7 starters and Whipser took 4th. Dobby also earned his first leg towards his Junior Hunter title. In New Mexico, Chip took Winners Dog and Best opposite for his first point towards his championship along with Best of breed and NOHS Group 2 yesterday! Ginny won her class two days at the Kennewick specialties last weekend. We are so incredibly proud of these puppies and all of the amazing things that their owners have been doing with them. Yoda rocked the 4-6 month puppy clas a couple of weekends ago, Minka has been having fun in the fields and recently took a cross country road trip, Alder had an amazing weekend out pheasant hunting, Ron is busy on the east coast doing all of the things and Cruz is crushing it being an amazing Country Club vizsla. I love these incredible and talented puppies and I love watching all of their adventures ⭐️

That pet only home, they don’t want to show, or hunt, they are looking for a family companion. And it’s a wonderful home. Honestly, they are all pets, and they all become part of our family. But I am beaming tonight because my pet only home that now has a Junior Hunter title, points towards his Championship, trick dog title, canine good citizen, is training for so much more just completed his Rally Novice title. Way to Rock it Cusco (Lyric Mani M&M’s)! We are so dang proud of you and can’t wait to watch and cheer you on towards your next title, you handsome smart and talented ”pet”.

⭐️ All of the Wizards have ventured off to their new homes and new adventures. Saying goodbye is never easy but these babies had some pretty amazing families waiting for them which always makes it easier. I am so excited to watch these amazing puppies grow up. Most of the puppies went to show/performance homes but most importantly they all went to amazing families where they will be treasured pets and part of the family. Be great Wizards! ⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards are Ten Weeks old! They have started venturing off to their new homes and new adventures. We are so sad to see them go, they have been such an amazing litter and so much fun to raise. But we are so excited for their futures and so thankful for all of the incredible homes welcoming a little Wizard into their family. Go be great Wizards! ⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards turned Eight Weeks Old! Oh my goodness, I love this bunch! They have had a fun week. They had their 8 week check up with the vet and got a clean bill of health. The got to go to their human Grandma’s house and meet my horses. They’ve continued to have lots of daily visitors and have been meeting different dogs. We did their 8 week puppy evals this last weekend and they had lots of visitors for that and got to see birds for the first time. We have made decisions on which puppies are going to which families, it was a hard task but we are really excited for all of their new homes. We continue daily clicker training, puppy call recall, manding, lots of daily snuggles and twice weekly mani pedis. They got to go out to the fields today to play with birds and then another trip to see the horses. This week we will continue going to new places, playing with birds and continuing training and socialization ⭐️

⭐️Week Seven with the Wizards⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards are Seven Weeks Old! These puppies continue to be an absolute joy to raise. We are continuing with daily clicker sessions. They love stacking up and their group manding is coming along beautifully. They spend most of their day loose in the house and with this beautiful weather that we’ve been having in the PNW they spend a lot of time outside as well going in and out through the dog door as they please. These guys love their food. Along with their raw meals we have starting giving them raw meaty bones and frozen whole sardines. They continue to get lots of new human visitors and get to interact and socialize with our visiting pups that stay. This week we will begin to introduce individual crate time and this coming weekend we will do puppy evaluations to help us begin determining which ones are going to which homes ⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards are Six Weeks Old! They had their puppy party and it was a huge success and so much fun. They continue to socialize with new people and new pups. We try to give them new experiences daily as well as continuing their clicker training and shaping. They have started working on their killer free stack and we’ve been doing puppy calls around the house which they all come bounding to. They are spending a lot of time outside of their pen now and they are all Little Rock stars about using their litter box or going in the grass. They love their outside time and if we are outside they choose to be outside too (sliding glass door is left open). Even in the evenings when it’s getting dark they will all be piled up on the dog bed next to our chairs. They are all loving their raw meals and we’ve been introducing new proteins and new bones for them to enjoy. We absolutely love these babies and they have been a joy to raise ⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards are five weeks old! They have been introduced to the clicker and we have started some shaping. Their pen is continually growing as they continue to grow. They are excellent at using their potty areas both in their pen and in the living room. They have started to go outside to play and are playing with other pups in the house. We are continuing to introduce them to new things daily as well as meeting new people. We absolutely adore these little Wizards! They are such a fun litter ⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards are Four Weeks Old! They have been up to quite a bit this week. We started with visitors and they have been getting new visitors daily. Their living area expanded and then they quickly learned how to climb out of their new set up. They are doing really good about using their litter boxes. They have been introduced to different sounds and get new objects to explore daily. Jinx continues to be an amazing momma and is very proud of her little Wizards. They are eating three raw meals a day and have started taking treats. We will begin clicker training and shaping this coming week as well as continuing their socialization and exposure to new things ⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards are Three Weeks old! They are starting to look and act like real puppies. Their ears are open, they are gaining more and more coordination and they are starting to play with each other and chew on their momma Jinx. Jinx continues to be an incredible and doting mommy. Our biggest is now over 4 pounds and they are all gaining steadily. We have started allowing visitors in to see them. They have been introduced to potty pads and now a litter box and they are moving from their bed area to the potty area to go potty. We are looking forward to moving them into a bigger area and introducing them to real food this coming week ⭐️

Wizards Week 2 ⭐️

⭐️ The Wizards are Two Weeks old! Their eyes are beginning to open and they are waddling around their whelping box. Jinx continues to be an axing, calm, and doting mommy. She is feeding them well, our biggest is over three pounds now and all are gaining between 2 and 4 ounces a day. We have stopped ENS but are continuing with lots of daily individual snuggle sessions, they now have a “nest” in their whelping box and we will be introducing them to their litter box this week. Lots of big changes and developments to come over this week! ⭐️

⭐️ Our Harry Potter Wizards (Jinx x Perrin) turned one week old! All of the Wizards are doing amazing, growing fast and are very strong and happy little puppies. All of them doubled their birth weight by day 7. They are getting daily individual cuddle sessions, early neurological stimulation, and toe nail trims every few days. Mommy Jinx continues to be an absolutely incredible mom and is so proud of her little class of wizards ⭐️

Jinx gave birth to nine beautiful babies early on Saturday morning. We have six boys and three girls. It was a very easy whelp and Jinx was absolutely incredible. She is so happy to have her own babies and is such a calm and loving momma. Jinx and all of her Wizards are doing amazing. All have been gaining weight, mommy is keeping them very clean and well fed.
