So tonight I had an intruder walk onto my apartment, I have no idea how he got in the building but he's my neighbor's ex boyfriend who broke her clavicle during an assault. So he's trespassed from the building and has a no contact order for the assault. He came looking for her and ended up walking into my apartment unannounced and uninvited. He refused to leave so I pulled out my jogger fogger and opened fire. It backfired onto me and my friend although I got him straight in the eyes. I have copd and I had a 15 minute coughing episode. I had to use oxygen for 20 minutes to get my breath back. So the police came and took a report. During the interview Bobo had jumped up on the shelf and decided to check our the cop's hair. When Bobo touched his head the cop jumped and looked back. He started to laugh and was a good sport about it. After all was said and done they went looking for him and that's my evening so far.

I hate how it takes a school shooting for us to get outraged by the violence our kids experience on a daily basis and I hate even more how our reactions to it have nothing to do with the real problem. We don't have a gun problem. Guns are a side affect. We have a problem with the human condition. How does one's heart get so cold that he thinks so little of the lives of his brothers and sisters? Background checks and the like are nice sounding ideas. Do them. But the crux of our problem is not regulatory it's spiritual. We have to address the hurt, anger, and disconnect people are feeling and it is a lot more difficult work than the sound bite solutions we regurgitate from our politicians.

My sister made it through the woods. She'll leave the hospital when her blood pressure comes down. She sounds tired but she's speaking clearly. Thank you all for your prayers!

My pet peeve is when people ask you to pray and then say no details and don't ask why. I guess it's because when I pray I'm praying for something I feel is tangible like somebody's health or somebody's crisis or something needed because I feel that it helps me to focus on my prayers. I don't want to start a fight with anybody that's just how I feel. So I'm asking you all to pray for my sister Jane Warne she had a stroke and is in the hospital. Apparently the stroke started on Friday and she just now went to the hospital. So far God has spared her life and I hope he continues. So please pray for my sister she needs your prayers!
