It is with happy news and sad news that we have chosen to end our licensed pet sitting company. We adopted this cute guy from and will no longer be taking clients. Check out these great tips for protecting your pets during heat waves and of course don’t forget get to hydrate yourself!

Watch out for hot pavement, asphalt or concrete which can burn paw pads. Use the 5 second rule: Place the back of your hand on the ground for 5 seconds - if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them!

From ASPCApro: Make sure you give your pets plenty of fresh, clean water when it’s hot or humid outdoors. Ensure that your pets have a shady place to get out of the sun, be careful not to over-exercise them and use your best judgment to keep them indoors when it’s extremely hot. Never let your dog linger on hot asphalt. Being so close to the ground, your pooch’s body can heat up quickly, and sensitive paw pads can burn. Keep walks during peak daytime hours to a minimum.

Come join us for this year's 2022 multi-agency first-responder event. Our annual public safety festival will host over 30 local safety and not-for-profit organization booths, City departments and your local CHP, Petaluma PD, Sheriff's Office, Petaluma Fire Department, Search & Rescue and Red Cross. Each booth will offer safety activities, swag and resources. Enjoy tours of emergency vehicles and observe safety scenarios. Free food, music and prizes available to guests. Great fun for the whole family!
