Good morning everyone. I want to apologize for the delay in my responses the last week. We had a medical emergency at the house last week along with some other events this week that have taken most of my time. I started getting through as many responses yesterday and will be continuing to respond to everyone today as well as on Saturday. The update everyone has been waiting to hear…. THE VAN IS BACK!! After 6ish months of back and forth, delays, setbacks etc I’m finally fully functional and back to scheduling as normal.

Words can’t express how excited I am and how thankful I am for all of you!!

I think I’ve gotten caught up on requests and calls so far, so if you are a CURRENT CLIENT looking to schedule your pet please shoot me a text at (215) 720-8095 to get set up.

I will be opening my books for NEW CLIENTS starting August 1st to allow current clients to get back on their schedules. After 8/1 new clients can also send me a text at (215) 720-8095to get started. I will need your full name, address, your pets name, breed, weight, and age. ** please note, at this time I am only scheduling new dogs under 30lbs who are able to maintain a 5, 6 or 8 week schedule**

I have implemented some price changes that went into effect in February, for those of you I have not seen recently those changes will be reflected on your pets next groom.

As always texting is the best way to get in touch with me. I will respond as quickly as possible between appointments or during a break. Normal business hours are Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 2pm

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a few quick updates.

I can not begin to thank you all for the love and support the last few months with the chaos that has become the van. We are FINALLY making headway with everything and fingers crossed I’m hoping to be scheduling for the van in the next few weeks.

I am also trying something new for communications and availability openings. I will be posting announcements and route availability there as well as keeping everyone up to date on things such as van status, weather delays, etc. Please feel free to join and invite members. Members are only visible to other members.

At this time the truck still remains down. It will potentially be going back out to Indiana to have the manufacturer diagnose and repair the issues, we could be looking at weeks if that is the case.

I will be in contact with all clients who have pre booked appointments to discuss further options.

Many of you have already heard I am taking appointments at Dog Town. I am only able to take appointments that have already been scheduled with me through the van and will not be booking new appointments at this time. I will still be handling all requests and questions directly and ask you to not reach out to Dog Town to get a hold of me. FTMPG continues to operate as its own business and I am extremely thankful to Jenn and the Dog Town staff for allowing me to use their space. Dog Town is not responsible for handling any FTMPG clients and I expect clients to please respect this.

I will be posting updates regarding the truck and availability as they come. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunate update regarding the truck.

At this time the truck remains down and we are still working on options and resolutions.

I am currently not scheduling any new appointments. Anyone who has an appointment already or has reached out to me prior to today regarding an appointment will be contacted to discuss alternative grooming options.

I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have a better update in the coming weeks.

Many of you know I have been dealing with a series of electrical issues in the van. We have been running down different potential issues and ruling them out and I have been working on temporary fixes while working to resolve the issues.

Last week the van took a major hit with the extreme cold temperatures and the ongoing electrical issues which caused freezing in the van, my main water tank, and my pumps. My main water pump froze and burst and I made the decision to disassemble my bathing system to swap the pump and get back up as quickly as possible.

Friday I experienced more electrical issues and currently have no power beyond lighting to the salon. We have been working through the weekend to try and resolve the issues and have calls out to a specialist as well as the manufacturer.

At this time I am not booking any appointments. If your pet has an appointment scheduled for this week I will be in contact with you about our options and potential timeframe for repairs and I hope to have better answers by the end of the day. If you are needing to schedule an appointment please be patient, I will resume scheduling next week with adjustments as needed.

Huge shout out to Dog Town New Britain for offering me space last week to be able to accommodate some effected clients.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their support. As many of you know I have been balancing a very busy business and some extra personal emergencies with my father.

My father passed away peacefully Saturday night, surrounded by loved ones.

The next few weeks will definitely be slower for me, and I will be getting back to everyone as quickly as possible. If you’ve been rescheduled or are waiting to hear back you are my first priority and i apologize now if responses are outside or normal hours and scattered.

Two things the last few months have made incredibly clear are that I have some pretty amazing clients and that I am “burning the candle at both ends” as my mother would say.

I will be making some changes to availability and scheduling among other things. Updates will be posted in the coming weeks and I will be talking personally to everyone as I see you.

Again thank you so much to everyone for your support, I expect to resume work again on the 27th but it will be a modified schedule. I will be needing to make some adjustments for the weeks of the 27th and the 3rd, everyone who will be effected will hear from me as soon as possible.

I will be out of contact for the next week or so, those of you who’ve submitted a request already or have an appointment scheduled for this week I will be getting back to you as soon as possible. If you do not already have an appointment scheduled or have not yet made a request please wait until the 27th when I return to normal hours to send me a text. I am currently scheduling for September and do not have any availability remaining for August for full grooms.

If you are looking for an immediate appointment please reach out to another local salon who may be able to accommodate you sooner.

Dog Town New Britain does have a new groomer, and she has been amazing helping me while I move my schedule around. They also have a bather available for nails and baths.

As many of you are already aware my father has been struggling with his health the last two months. I am very appreciative of everyone who has reached out for support and been flexible and accommodating with me having to move things around. Today’s update was not the update anyone wanted to hear and I am taking the time he has left to be with him.

Thank you all for your understanding and flexibility.

Thank you so much to everyone these past few weeks! I am back, I am still working on getting a few effected appointments rescheduled and getting through the overwhelming number of requests. I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this difficult time.

If I haven’t already reached back out to you, you will be hearing from me in the next few days. All remaining June and July appointments will be dedicated to requests already submitted.

If you have not yet rescheduled or requested a grooming appointment all appointments will be scheduled for august 3rd or later. (Short haired bath and nail trim appointments excluded)

Please note, I am unable to schedule any new or lapsed clients at this time.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and kept my father and family in your thoughts. We’re taking things day by day as we get test results back and are hoping he can be released soon.

Thank you so much to everyone this week for being flexible and understanding while I’ve had to move things around.

Earlier in the week one of our personal dogs at home had a medical emergency and was admitted to the ER. She was transferred to UPenn from our local emergency facility to receive more specialized care.

I am doing everything I can to avoid last minute changes to scheduling. Between a generator issue last week, a jump in appointment requests, and now this my schedule is extremely booked but I will do my absolute best to get any rescheduled appointments in as soon as possible.

If you have already reached out regarding an appointment or your appointment has been rescheduled I will be working through the weekend to get everyone scheduled.

If you have not yet already reached out to book a new appointment I ask that you please wait until normal business hours which resume 9 AM on Tuesday.

Tuesday, February 2nd remains normal as of now, I am keeping a close eye on the weather and will reach out to appointments if anything changes.

Thank you so much to everyone who has shared my information and page! At this time I will not be taking on new clients. I want to ensure current clients are getting the appointments they need. If you have already scheduled or reached out don’t worry! I’m still getting caught up on requests and callbacks and will be honoring those clients. Any area openings for new clients will be posted here as they become available.

For current clients I highly recommend booking future appointments at checkout to make sure your pet is staying on their regular schedule. I am currently booking out about 4-6 weeks ahead for all grooms, both dog and cat.

Good morning everyone! Due to an emergency at my house and in my community my response times will be significantly delayed. If my phone is going directly to voicemail please leave a message or send a text, I’m likely back without power if that’s the case and will respond as soon as I’m charged. I am still working, and if you have an appointment scheduled in the next week I will be there. I do not have availability before 1/11 and will get back to everyone as soon as I can about future appointments. I will temporarily not be doing drop in nail trims (unless already scheduled), I’m expected to return to them after the holidays. Well we had a last minute change to our interior color. A little disappointing but it’s still beautiful! The countdown is on, we leave bright and early tomorrow to pick up the van!

I will be unable to answer calls or messages through Saturday morning but I promise I will get back to you as soon as possible! Texting and email are always quick ways to chat.

Covid-19 and FTMPG

As the world still faces this pandemic and it’s spread I wanted to share with you my commitment to providing safe services to your pets and your family. Here are some measures I will be following to ensure a clean salon and limit any spread of the virus, and other transmittable illnesses, to you and your pets.

- All dogs will be brought into the van with my own leash. I ask that you remove all collars and harnesses prior to my arrival to limit time spent in contact with you.

- Cats will be brought into the van in a carrier, a clean sanitized hard sided carrier can be provided. If you are using your own carrier I ask that it is cleaned prior to my arrival and your cat is ready to go.

- At this time I will not be allowing any owners in the van. Myself and any assistants I may have will be following the CDCs guidelines for hygiene and will not be working if exposed or feeling unwell.

- The salon, tools, and all touch points will be disinfected between pets prior to my arrival.

- I ask that if you or anyone in your home is not feeling well or has been exposed to please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

- If your pet is showing any signs of illness services may be rescheduled out of an abundance of caution. This includes coughing, sneezing, runny nose, or loose stool.

- To limit close contact, after your pet is brought onboard I will call you to go over details of the service including haircut, shampoos, allergies, and any other necessary information if needed.

- Payments can be made via cash, check, debit/credit card or Venmo. If paying cash please try to have exact change to limit contact.

This has been a very stressful few months for everyone and we are all learning how to cope. Moving into a mobile one-on-one service has been a huge step for me and Covid has certainly played a huge factor in this decision. For those of you that already know me you know how much I love talking about your pet and how important communication is to me. I would love to show off the van and this new journey but everyone’s health comes first. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out.
