Covid-19 and FTMPG
As the world still faces this pandemic and it’s spread I wanted to share with you my commitment to providing safe services to your pets and your family. Here are some measures I will be following to ensure a clean salon and limit any spread of the virus, and other transmittable illnesses, to you and your pets.
- All dogs will be brought into the van with my own leash. I ask that you remove all collars and harnesses prior to my arrival to limit time spent in contact with you.
- Cats will be brought into the van in a carrier, a clean sanitized hard sided carrier can be provided. If you are using your own carrier I ask that it is cleaned prior to my arrival and your cat is ready to go.
- At this time I will not be allowing any owners in the van. Myself and any assistants I may have will be following the CDCs guidelines for hygiene and will not be working if exposed or feeling unwell.
- The salon, tools, and all touch points will be disinfected between pets prior to my arrival.
- I ask that if you or anyone in your home is not feeling well or has been exposed to please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.
- If your pet is showing any signs of illness services may be rescheduled out of an abundance of caution. This includes coughing, sneezing, runny nose, or loose stool.
- To limit close contact, after your pet is brought onboard I will call you to go over details of the service including haircut, shampoos, allergies, and any other necessary information if needed.
- Payments can be made via cash, check, debit/credit card or Venmo. If paying cash please try to have exact change to limit contact.
This has been a very stressful few months for everyone and we are all learning how to cope. Moving into a mobile one-on-one service has been a huge step for me and Covid has certainly played a huge factor in this decision. For those of you that already know me you know how much I love talking about your pet and how important communication is to me. I would love to show off the van and this new journey but everyone’s health comes first. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out.
