Hi everyone! I’ve been feeling under the weather lately, in case you are wondering. I can’t walk as far as I used to, and food isn’t very interesting. I am having something called an ultrasound soon. I don’t know what that is, but I’m always happy to see my vet. Or anyone, really… 😉

Today was the annual rearranging of the furniture that happens in the winter. This year included a short cut for me to dash to the front door. But I had to learn how to use it. And I did!

OMG! I almost lost my favorite stick of all time. It's called Mordecai (I'm not sure why), but when I was at the river I got distracted by something that smelled really interesting. When I turned around someone had taken my bestest stick and I didn't know where it was. We looked and looked. We walked up and down the river. Then, just when I thought it was gone forever, I could see a woman and her dog playing with a stick. It looked a lot like Mordecai. The women was looking at the stick and she was reading the inscription "Property of Tess Trueheart." When we walked up to her and I said my name is Tess Trueheart, she was happy to give my stick back to me. It was a happy ending to a scary story.

At home the humans grow this little Dahlia because it’s named after me: Tessy. The people who bred it didn’t know I spell it “ie”. But it’s the thought that counts.

I got to play here yesterday. Found a very fine stick. Liked it so much imma keep it in the car. Sunset Springs Rest Stop. Mostly I stayed on the grass and rolled on my stick.
