Bait is the OG of A Peace of Mind Petcare. He was our very first client and was walked 5-6 times each week for months. Our last day with Bait was this past Friday and to say my heart broke is an understatement! We made our last day together special by taking him for a car ride to the park for the afternoon. I know this isn’t goodbye, see you later Bait ❤️

Today I said goodbye to a dog that I’ve been walking everyday for the past 2.5 months and the bond I made with this pup will never be forgotten. I feel like I’m losing a dog of my own saying goodbye to Duke, tears definitely have been shed. I hope to see you again Dukey, this is the worst part about the pet care business!! 😭

~We take care of all pets! From the 31st of July through the 4th of August, we took care of 2 dogs, 2 cats, a Guinea pig, a mouse, a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, a crab and 25 fish all at one house!
~September & October are filling up quickly for house sitting, which also takes away availability for boarding! Book now while you can!

Happy Dogust!
Dogust is a holiday known as the universal birthday for all shelter dogs. August is month. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay has over 200 dogs right now ready for their furever home. Friends of Strays animal shelter has just opened a volunteer program where you can take a shelter dog out for a couple hours to give them a taste of what life is like outside the shelter. They provide dog business cards to pass out if anyone is interested in the dog you choose. Take a dog for a long awaited car ride, or get them a change of scenery at a local park! Let them run free in your own fenced backyard instead of keeping them on a leash like they’re used to. Do they like the water? Take them to a dog beach, or let them play in a dog pool! Remember, there are always so many dogs ready to be adopted and they are so ready to meet you!

for designing it for me.
This logo features the inspiration behind this business. Every child gets asked, “what do you want to be when you grow up?”, and every child also changes their mind a million times. Every time, I responded with careers involving animals or children. As I grew older, I rescued a dog who quickly became my world. I became pregnant shortly after losing that dog, and I knew then what I wanted to do career-wise. Why not open a business involving both? This is just the very beginning!
