As we prepare for the 2024 Total Eclipse, please don't forget about your pets! While exciting for humans, the eclipse may cause confusion and anxiety for our furry friends.

Here are some recommendations from our friends at the ASPCA!

☀️ While pets do not naturally look at the sun, it can still happen so it is best to bring all pets inside if you are safely able to do so.

❌ Leave your pets at home. Do not bring them with you to a large gathering or event to watch the eclipse. Pets will be more relaxed in the comfort of their own home.

🌕 Close all windows, blinds and doors. They will appreciate the safe and quiet environment.

💫 Keep pets calm with their favorite toys and treats or by providing something special like a frozen peanut butter Kong or playing soft calming music.

🐾 Double check identification tags and ensure your pet's microchip information is up to date in case excitement results in flight or fleeing behaviors.

🧡 Monitor behaviors and respond to signs your pet is stressed or anxious.

Sweet little Sally is the only baby that hasn't found her family yet. I know the perfect couch is waiting for her. She is a cutie and loves to play and then is ready to snuggle when she is tired. Just look at her face!!

They play hard and then when they are tired they all come to lay in my lap! They are looking for their furever couch to sleep on.

***He has found his forever couch!!***

Look at this sweet face! He is 8 weeks old and is looking for his forever couch to lay on! He is AKC registered. Tail has been docked and dew claws removed. He was vet checked at 3 days old and again at 6 week old! He has had his first puppy shot and has been dewormed every two weeks since he was 3 1/2 weeks old! Who has a couch with a spot for this handsome guy??
