While you are digging out those holiday decorations, please see if you have any gently used towels (without holes) that you could donate. We use towels to dry off dogs after baths, keep our pets comfortable during their procedure recovery and also to cover our cat patient's carriers while they are here for appointments. November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month and why not take a chance on a senior like Ruby!

Ruby is a 7 year old female. She has a heart full of love and a spirit that is always ready for a good game of fetch. She is always up for a fun adventure or a snuggle sess on the couch. She is looking for a home to spend her senior years being spoiled.

If you are looking to meet her stop in this weekend Sat and Sun from 11am - 5pm. Her adoption fee is waived through 11/17 during BISSELL Pet Foundation Empty the Shelters.

HSP is proud to have a Seniors for Seniors program because we believe that love has no age limit! Adopters age 60 and older are eligible for waived adoption fees for their adoption of a dog or cat age 7+. Ask about the program next time you visit!

We understand that some of you may be evacuating. We are working as quickly as we can to get medications refilled and appointments rescheduled. PLEASE have patience and understanding while we all go through this together! We are open regular hours today, until 6pm, and tomorrow (as of now). We will update you with any changes to our hours.

We are joining Pinellas County in the collection effort to help those affected by Hurricane Helene. Bring any donations with you to your appointment or drive by and drop them off! The collection effort will end Friday 10/11/2024 and we will be dropping the donated items off at Habitat for Humanity.

Disposable baby diapers
Baby food/ formula
Can openers (manual)
Plastic ware
Paper products
Disposable adult diapers
Cleaning supplies, including mops and brooms

Work gloves, Heavy rubber kitchen gloves and non-sterile gloves
Flashlights and fresh batteries

Items NOT accepted:
Used clothing
Bottled water
Furniture, appliances and other large items

We will be CLOSED Thursday 9/26/24 due to Helene. If you have an emergency with your pet please contact Blue Pearl 727-572-0132, TBVS 727-531-5752 or VEG 727-288-0732. We will re-open Friday 9/27 at 7am, as long as we have power. We will contact any appt's on Friday if they need to be rescheduled. If you do not hear from us then come at your normal appt time on Friday. Stay safe everyone and take care of those fur babies! ❤
