Hello Friends and family,
I have a situation, Regarding a customer's pet placement. Violets parent has passed over and left Sweet behind suddenly. We're desperately Seeking placement for her for a forever home.
She is up today with all her vaccinations in shots. She is getting treated for allergies currently. And Arthritis medications. I believe she is eight Years young.
Violet comes from a severely abusive childhood. She was finally adopted after somebody noticed she was burned with hot oil as a puppy.
My dear friend Henry stepped in an adopted her.
She also had 2 surgeries on her knees when she was young. So she kinda walks or should I say Waddles around. She is a good candidate for older person also as she does not need much walking, just a nice backyard.
I have been caring for her for almost three years now and Violet is One of the most adorable and sweet puppies I've ever known. She deserves better than to be placed in a shelter situation.
Violet is on a countdown as the house is going into a estate sale situation. Violet needs an adoption and within a two week period Today.
Side note, the family is still trying to decide how to handle it. Whether they will keep her if they move here from out of state or go in a adoption direction.

Keep your fur-kids safe during Elsa! In the event of a disaster your supply kits should contain anything your pet(s) needs to stay comfortable during the storm, and anything needed to enter a pet friendly shelter.
Below is a generalized list of supplies recommended:
*Crate- big enough to stand up & turn around and enough room to move out of any f***l matter or urine
*Medical records, collar with identification, and a leash for dogs
*Any medication your pet regularly takes
*Bowls for food & water
*Food & bottled water
*Blankets/bedding
*Toys for comfort and staying busy- This helps lower their stress level
*Pet waste disposal bags & Litter-box/litter/scooper
As of now (July 6 1 am), Pinellas County is opening two public shelters: Lealman, where people can take their pets and Ross Norton, where PCAS's will transport pets back to the shelter for temporary housing.
