MEET THE ARTIST
SUE PRATT, has combined her artistic expertise and
deep love of animals to produce drawings of the highest
quality. Sue's career began in high school where she majored in
art, attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati on scholarship,
and worked in an art studio as well as the Cincinnati
Enquirer’s ad department. In Cincinnati The U.S.Depart-
ment of Health, Education and Welfare ret
ained her as a
Scientific Illustrator. Moving to Indiana, she held positions as illustrator for a
radio/TV station and was Art Director for a large insurance
agency. In 1979 she, her daughter and a Great Dane moved to
Seneca, South Carolina, where she was on staff of the
Seneca Journal and eventually became Director of the
local United Way. In the meantime she continued to
freelance her artwork and donated her talents to many
organizations. Retirement in 1999 made it possible for her to con-
centrate on her first love in art - drawing portraits of her own,
and clients beloved pets. And, her other passion of rescuing
