Blue River Pet Rescue

Dog Foster and Adoption arrangement for Seward and Saline counties in Nebraska, with the ultimate goal of having a shelter facility.

We are a group of community members who began meeting in the fall of 2010 to discuss concerns about the lack of available care for pet animals that are abandoned, unwanted or stray. We believe that the communities in Seward and surrounding counties are progressive-minded populations, and as such, should have an organization that can provide shelter and care for that animal population. To that end, Blue River Pet Rescue, a 501 (c)(3) organization, was formed.
