If I were to open to pages in the book of my life, Seymour would be highlighted in bold bright yellow. It’s always amazed me how so many people are family in this town or have been close friends since childhood. To me that speaks VOLUMES about how beautiful this town really is.
Y’all have embraced me so warmly and openly. I found myself wishing over the years I had that same family support I saw in so many of you.
With a heavy heart, my chapter in this town has come to an end. While my business was quite successful, our need for a family support system has grown as our family has grown. We don’t have any family close by in Seymour and while the town has embraced me, it can still feel somewhat isolating.
I lost photos of some dear beloved pets when transitioning grooming software and that has made me sad. Trying to narrow down some pictures from my time as a business owner in this town was HARD. If your pet isn’t in here it just means Facebook put a cap on what I can share and I definitely lost a lot of photos.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me, and prayed over me and my family (there’s been many of you). I am forever blessed to have known all of you, and it’s something I’ll be carrying in my heart as I continue on in this life.
For now, I’ll see you back for Apple Fest!

Thank you everyone who has been so patient with me through this time. My postpartum was ROUGH and did not go as planned. Baby is 3 months old officially and I’m ready to get back at it and see so many of your beloved and dearly missed faces!

Hello everyone. As of today I am 6 weeks postpartum
I was hoping to return mid December but I need to be transparent without giving too much personal detail.
Within the last 4 weeks my husband has been hospitalized, my older two kids have gotten the chicken pox and I’ve had to isolate with the baby from my family due to this illness the past 2 weeks. My husband is out of the hospital and is now working 60 hours a week til the rest of the year.
Life has been chaotic to say the least and we haven’t gotten our footing or caught our breath yet.
I am having tons and tons of people reach out to me trying to book their dogs which is why I’m making this post.
I am hoping to return in the beginning of January part time. Right now, my family and I are just needing some extra time.

Carlos
6 Year Old Intact Male Frenchie.
Amazing with Children, Farm Animals, and Female dogs.
He can be territorial over his food & kennel with male dogs.

Carlos is kennel trained, and House broke.
Loves to chase toys & is a good mix of playful and cuddly.

He has allergies to grain and Must be fed a grain free dog food.
No health issues other than that.
Easy to bath, clip and loads himself a car.
Needing a new forever home 🙏

Juniper Brook Hogue born 2:28 am October 25th after only 1.5 hours of labor in the comfort of her home surrounded by her siblings, meme, parents and midwives. The girls are super excited and happy about their new sister. Emotions are high and we are resting at home.
I told the midwife and my husband “I’ll go into labor when we finally get rain!”
Sure enough, as soon as my water broke and contractions started… the rain came
Rain after a long drought 🙏

Super grateful everything has gone so smoothly thus far.
She weighed 6lb 12 oz and 20 inches long. 🥹

Hello everyone!
I am officially on Maternity Leave! Due date is the last day of October and I’m taking some much needed time to rest and nest before baby.
Some updates:
We are not selling. We failed to find a good home in the area we loved as well as having a potential buyer fall through at the last minute for our home. It’s been a whirlwind over here! I appreciate everyone being so patient as my family and I tried to navigate this transition.
So, for the foreseeable future we will be staying put for a long awhile!
I will be returning possibly around Christmas time, or after the new year. I will post some updates later as to what my new availability will look like then.
I love you all so much. This is my last baby so I’m trying to really soak up these last newborn moments and you all have been so understanding 💚🙏
I look forward to seeing you all and your pets I’ve come to love dear soon enough!

Dear customers,

My life is going through some wonderful and wild changes. Not only are we moving at the end of the summer, but I am expecting a little bundle of joy!
These will cause some changes that may affect my business and lovely customers.
Due to my physical condition, a recent injury included, I am having to cut back my hours significantly. It also means I can only groom small, easy to groom dogs that don't put stress on my body. I will not be taking any NEW CLIENTS at all, and will be closing my books at the end of the summer for maternity leave.
I am so grateful for all of you who have supported me and stuck by me through the years. This is a strange chapter for my family and I and I appreciate all the concerns and understanding from you all. 🙏

I will do my best to reach out to everyone privately as well.
The hardest part is missing all of you for the time being. Thank you for your patience.
