Beth is not yet spayed for reasons that I will elaborate on later in the post. She will need to be spayed at one year old.
I will not allow her to go to a home with any in tact males to ensure that no accidents happen, and accidents do happen.
Beth can never get pregnant. Giving birth would most likely kill her.
She is a special case.
When Beth was born her ”back side” wasn’t fully developed. Her tail could not be docked because it only grew out to around 5 inches. Also, in simple terms, she was born without an a**s. When she was a small puppy she had to defecate through her va**na.
The proper terms for her rare condition are atresia ani with a rectova**nal fistula.
Don’t let this scare you! Beth functions just like a normal puppy and you would never know she went through this at such a young age.
The only precautions are that, as mentioned before, she does not become pregnant. Also, her eating something off the ground as small as a bottle cap could cause serious, life threatening damage to the pathway the surgeons created for her.
She’s a very special girl. Her breeder spent literal thousands of dollars saving her life and then kept her throughout the healing period of her surgery.
She is pure unconditional love and would bring joy into any family’s life.
