I can't remember a time in my life that I didn't have a pet of my own! I dedicated my career to working in the field of veterinary medicine. It was such a blessing to be able to do something that I absolutely loved. It isn't work if you love doing it! Then Darren and I were chosen to be the proud parents of a beautiful, strong, independent, funny little girl. She changed us. Darren's career allowe

d me to stay home with her and raise her, and for that I will always be thankful!! Darren & I always wanted our own little farm with horses and land. It was always something we talked about doing in retirement ages. This past winter we decided to start looking for land, just to see. We found this forgotten property and fell in love. We made it happen! It took 7 long months of renovations but we finally have our little farm. Our first animals on the farm where the chickens. We have lost a few to the wildlife here but learned from our mistakes and taken precautions for our current girls. We love our hens and they get to enjoy all of our table scraps along with fresh fruits/veggies. They also free range on the property for all the bugs they can eat. They in turn give us lovely eggs that are rich in protein! The shells vary in color from greenish blue to brown. We currently have 6 baby goats, 3 bucks (soon to be wethered) and 3 does. They are all a cross of Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy. Their ages range from 8wks - 12 wks. This time next year we should be able to get fresh milk from our does. They have about 3/4 acre to forage on that is full of overgown brush. Every night they follow me to the big barn to be locked up safely from predators. We sell our farm fresh eggs for $4/ dozen. I just ask that you save your cartons and we'll gladly refill them for you! I also sell wooden crafts of all varieties. Thank you for visiting our page and continue to check back as we grow and change.

Our Story

It started as a dream... Growing up I had a love for animals and passion for helping them. Darren's career allowed me to stay home with her and raise her, and for that I will always be thankful!! Darren & I always wanted our own little farm with horses and land. It was always something we talked about doing in retirement ages. The winter of 2015 we decided to start looking for land, just to see. We currently have 5 goats. They are all a cross of Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy. Their ages range from 9months - 2.5 years. This time next year we should be able to get fresh milk from our does. They have about 3/4 acre to forage on that is full of overgrown brush. Every night they follow me to the big barn to be locked up safely from predators.

We also have 2 miniature donkeys, Eeyore & Buddy who are best friends. A miniature Pony named Butterfly who is blind in one eye, she is a retired carousel pony and a full size paint horse named Cowboy. He is a rescue that requires special boots to wear since he came to us with laminitis. Thank you for visiting our page and continue to check back as we grow and change.
